This was really good. It was unfortunate that the chadra came loose and the circle formation didnt hit. But overall you guys murdered it. So many new dancers little dancers some who dont even have facial hair yet lol. So much potential with this team, cant wait to see where you guys take it.

Whoever does your formations is really good at them!!

Ps: iam glad that the vancity/panj choreo was of assistance to you guys lol ;)

man u guys are so graceful, that live aspect of dancing really carries over to make the sets entertaining overall, especially this one. Saap segment was dope, I like that Yaara Ve Yaara segment in the khunde, thought that hit in terms of the folkal aspect. Energy was great throughout and you guys all seemed very controlled in the dancing.

As stated before, some of the formations did not hit, made it harder for the viewer to see what was going on. That circle formation could have been better. There was a lot of stop and go, thought that disrupted the flow of the set.

All in all, you guys murdered.

That was dope! Straight from the get go you guys had me. Intro was on point and props segment was my favorite. Mitran nu maar gaya was on point! I loved that you guys changed the 2man bhangra guy part and made it more of a surprise, rather than building it in the back at BSM. Ending was game over! Congrats guys, wish this set placed higher but great job regardless!

Props to Baljot with the mix, song selection and everything flowed so well

PS. props to the guy in the green for pulling through the entire set with that chadra issue. Don't worry, it happens ..

Congrats on the placing. Like I've said in the past, it's crazy how quick you guys are getting better and better. There's a good amount of creativity in this set. Love the vardiyan. A bit reminiscent of SGPD, but I think they have their own appeal too.

Just a few quick thoughts on the performance:

There were some good ideas for formations, but honestly, a lot of it just didn't hit because it was way to fast or way too forced. It felt like you guys were running through formations rather than dancing through them. When you do formation effects, make sure there is some breather before you jump into another one. When dancers are struggling to hit their spots, the dancing suffers and the choreo just doesn't look as appealing as it good have. Also, there are way too many circle formations. Given the creativity of the set, I have no doubt you can think of other effects other than variations of going in circles.

Also, way too many waterfall effects and pick-up effects (aka one group doing something while the others stop and then others join in in groups). Do maybe 1 or 2 MAX. After that, it just gets repetitive and makes you seem desperate for "quick gimmicky effects".

What I liked about you guys at WBBC is that you guys had a match-up call-out in almost every segment. Unfortunately, at any other competitions, when most of your "x-factors" are attributed to another team (and without the context of the match-up), it does very little to add to the credibility and creativity of your own team when you sit down and watch the performance. It's unfortunate that both competitions were 2 weeks apart, but I guess that's life. The "tall man" gimmick is still sick, but the middle one is the only one that really hits because of the difference in chaadre color of the outside two and some of the sloppiness on the outer two in getting the kurta on correctly as well. As a viewer, there's a difference between knowing what the gimmick is suppose to be and seeing the gimmick working. Having a bit more time to get the other two just as clean as the middle guy would be worth it. The silver banner that covers you guys is sick and could be used as a gimmick in itself. I'm really happy you guys used this way to change because it does look sick on stage and it's super unique as well.

I think overall, if you had slowed down the routine by 10%, added 1 or 2 slower, softer, more graceful segments, spaced out some of the sicker formation effects, replaced a few of the PANJ/Vancity call-outs and axed all the waterfall effects, this would be a much, much better set. I think dancing quality has a long way to go - there's a lot of not-lifting legs, bent squats, not-full extensions, lack of modhe..etc but I think the fast-pace of the set was the culprit for a good amount of it. You guys have creative ideas - really looking forward to seeing what you guys bring to Bruin!

PS - Chaadres were a better than WBBC, but still gotta fix them!

Thanks Kinnell! I appreciate the in-depth critiques and it really helps because we always take everything into consideration since it only helps us get better. Thanks for taking the time out and doing that and hopefully our next performance is even better !

shikkay segment was DOPE as well as khunday. The circle formation seemed a bit off like sue sylvester said but im gonna attribute that to the fast pace of the set. Red jorhi as well as blue were sick...LOVED the tall man gimmick at the end, definently was the icing on the cake of such a solid set. im guessing a lot of the similar vancity choreo was your guys's call out for wbbc and if it was that was pretty sick too...Congrats on another sick performance as well as placing, you guys are definently establishing yourselves as one of the better teams in the circuit. Keep up the great work and can't wait too see what you guys bring to bruin! Gopi D im going to PM you with a couple specifics i liked as well as things you guys can improve on.

Very messy. Gopi came up with some talented stuff for BK and he sure didn't disappoint with AG's sets... until this one. The set was way too messy because you guys were trying to achieve crowd's 'aww' moments by doing weird and clunky formations. Plus the thing you guys do in the end with 2 people is not even cool anymore. The first 2 times, it was spectacular. Its just worthless to be honest. Overall, 6/10 set. Needs major improvements. I cannot believe how you guys placed over SMD and Cal.

Sorry to disappoint you man but we tried taking risks and being a little more outside of the box. Bhangra over everything but sometimes a stretch from the norm goes a long way and that's exactly what we tried to do. We had our mess ups and hopefully next time around we're cleaner and our set comes out stronger but regardless, we had fun on stage and the audience actually interacted really well.

Honestly in a world full of errors, bhangra wont ever be perfect. This set in my opinion Was a entertaining set that fit my taste, but You are correct at one point this team has done alot better at older performances and comps last summer but lacked cleanliness at this particular one but who cares they looked like they were having fun (so did all the other teams GOOD JOB WARRIOR ). this comp was filled with cleanliness music and live teams which SMD was amazing at (i have no idea why they didnt place ) NSG was very clean and the crowd was strong for them but in my opinion there Set was clean but lacked a wow factor. and tigerstyle i also tried to check if you were another fake account bashing on another team and saw that u have 4 posts only including comments towards NSG and AG, and 2 of the posts bashing AG and the other Posts praising NSG. if this is behavior in the wrong doing, this community on btf is all for critiques and to help eachother grow! this team gladly put up there video to be critiqued and to hear all the other great dancers and judges in the circuit help them evolve into a better team. And yes you did give this team a critique but at least make sure your critique is out of good faith.! other then that i congratulate AG and NSG both teams are doing great things for the west coast.

I did not mean to offend anyone. I do sincerely apologize. I was just simply stating my opinion. The reason is that I know how good Gopi is when it comes to making a 10/10 set. He showed his creativity flawlessly in the past. That's what bothered me the most. Its like when you watch a trailer of 300:Rise of empire and you get pumped the heck up for it. But after finally watching the movie, you're left out a little disappointed. Their previous sets were simply magnificent! The formations, especially, were quite unique. As far as NSG, I like how they are slowly getting big in the bhangra scene. Some of the gimmiks they showcased are somewhat original. I simply enjoy bhangra; both watching and performing it. That's all.
Again, please excuse me if I have said anything out of the norm.
