Anyone with a Jooda play Football?

one thing to note, if he does in fact tie a putka...no matter how tight he ties it, it will come off when he takes his helmet off, football helmets are meant to be snug, so if you dont go troy palamalu or my way and decide to do a super flat judah, invest in an underarmour cap or a durag

sorry i phrased myself wrong its not vital to keep in a Jooda form under the helmet i just mean to say he has a jooda and extremely long hair so he cant just leave it open backward or anything

Tie it in a bun in the back with a patka on top.

the helmet goes pretty far down on the neck so i dont think a bun would work out since tht would obstruct the helmet even more

dat actually works cuz i play football nd we have a sardar guy on our team nd he makes a bun d puts a patka over it too nd it works out

well how long is his hair?

it goes beyond his ass so im talking super long and thats why the troy thing wont roll

bunch of people in houston play on high school teams ... they told me best way they play is loooooooooooosee jooda with a do rag

yea im thinkin about gettin him a doorag cuz it wont have a big not like a bandana cuz even his skull cap kinda comes a bit loose

do a commando style!!! if you were in the bay area...i would have helped N' it wouldn't even matter if your brother had long hair. it's really hard to explain. lol

idk my mom did somewhat of what gurbir23 said with the gut and then when she tied it up sort of like a loose jooda she tied it up in some weird intricate pattern i cant really explain it like she tied up the ends of it along with other parts of the jooda and it didnt move much at all but i think doorag will work better than the skull cap because it'll be a bit tighter

what i used to do was.....braid his hair at the back like, a gut, and just put a rubberband at the bottom so it doesnt open and if its extremely long, double it up and put a rubber band at the top so you basically got like a big loop......this way his helmet slides on and off and at the same time you dont gotta worry about his hair opening and/or getting in his face (that gets freakin annoying)

My hair isn't THAT long, but combining the above and the loose joora idea, I'm guessing there's a way to do a reverse braid (aka start from the back of the neck towards the top of the head) and tie a loose joora with that braid...in the end you should get a smaller, loose joora. I'd imagine this would be super hard to do though...just a thought

dude your just overcomplicating it lol, just Braid a guth at the back (like a girl), puth a rubberband at the top and bottom of the guth so it doesnt unravel, and get'er done...no putka, no nothing, even if its superlong, tuck it into your jersey, it wont come out
