What website?- Raja - said:has anyone actaully bought vardiyan from a site before? like personally i would want either myself or someone from our team to go and actaully seee the colours, pagh material etc.
Lol, are you asking for free vardiyaan? lolMunnie said:Kind of along this topic, I was wondering what teams do with their old vardiyan..like you only use them for a few comps, then what?
I'm from BC but I go to school in Europe and we do some 'amateur' performances for our university's functions etc - guys in kurta tops and girls just wearing the kameez from their suits plus leggings - we have essentially no budget but I've been curious about "used vardiyan".
Thanks!
This is definitely a good point. I'm sure there are many teams that have several sets of vardiyaan that they have lying around with no use. If there was a means for these teams to connect with new teams without much funds, both parties could make out well.Munnie said:we have essentially no budget but I've been curious about "used vardiyan"

What we do is just use our old ones for small performances.
lol, no i wasn't asking for free vardiyaan, I just meant that it's completely out of our range to get our own, and if other teams have extra ones that are used, then those would definitely be a lot more reasonable. I totally agree with the fact that a lot of teams can be identified by their vardiyaan, and I guess that would be up to the teams - who they want to sell to if the did, or what they wanted to sell. I think it's worth looking into...like the idea of an auction site![]()
