I just saw the whole vid. The actual bhangra stuff was the usual in-sync stuff to expect from empire. But the gimmicks make the video worth watching, there is some crazy stuff. I won't say any more so as to not spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

That's the point, they don't want their routines to be seen yet, it takes away the intrigue if you've already seen the tricks before. They've asked for people to refrain from putting videos up after each of their competitions, but it still happens.

that was one hell of a magic show. everyone always says empire tries to cater to a wider audience... how come this team doesn't focus on becoming better, more graceful dancers so they look less stiff on stage and appeal a little bit to the bhangra audience? u guys are obviously great performers though.

Yeah the gimmicks are nice, but the overall feel of their sets has been identical forthe past few years. Just seems like they change up songs, and add more gimmicks each year.

I'm not a dancer so from an audience's standpoint , I have to say Bhangra Empire are the "Panjabi MC" of bhangra dance competitions :D . They are attracting audiences from all over the globe and putting these competitions on the map. So NA teams should be thankful and support them for what they have achieved and continue to accomplish. I only have one criticism though - the choice of songs could be a lot better (doesnt do justice to their routine)

SICK!!! Hands down first place, you guys do what Bruin asks for which is the gimmicks, magic tricks etc.

And the comments about having the same routine, who cares? Why fix something that's not broken? The same style, gimmicks have made Empire into the most successful team of all time. They have 19 trophies, over 5million views on YouTube, the White House, Americas Got Talent, Harper Magazine, and teach classes at 4 different locations. But yet Empire should change their style, and their routines every comp just to keep BTF happy and entertained?

And at least they have their own style and arent waiting for the next SGPD/Nachdi routine for new ideas which they are then going to change up a little bit and call their own lol.

I personally am a fan of folk Bhangra and focus on the technical execution of it. But hey got to give credit where it's due doesnt matter if I like the style or not.

I was waiting for the GTV video to watch their performance because I heard good things about it and wanted to watch it in HD/good quality recording, but I couldn't wait and searched on YouTube and seems like all the videos got removed.
