For anyone interested, I thought maybe I'd provide some background info regarding some of the teams in this competition.


First off, I started dancing bhangra with Lilly when we founded NTP 6 years ago for a high school talent show. We then continued to grow as a family and first competed at Bhangra Nation in '09, where we placed first. However, last April I graduated from the University of Toronto and decided to pursue my post graduate studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, where I stumbled upon FAUJ (thanks to our beloved friend, kinnell). These guys have taken me in as one of their own and treated me like family from the start. We had our first competition just this past weekend at VPD in North Carolina, which was a great learning experience for our rookie team. This upcoming weekend my two bhangra families will unite at Fever and I can't contain my excitement (hence me sharing this with btf, lol).


Not only that, but during my time on NTP, we had 3 current dancers from Jawani Revolution as well as 2 of TAG's girls dance with us for numerous hall parties and other gigs. To cut it short, this is gonna be one hell of a big family reunion and may the best team win!
