I doubt it will be a long show. Bhangra Idols is the one comp that is on time and never leaves a second to spare. Everything is on point at this comp; there's no extra nonsense between teams performing - the atmosphere is always hyped and it's very time specified, which makes the show run smoothly.

Plus only $30 to watch two competitions and an after party - does not get much better than that!

Update on Bhangra Idols:

Bhangra Idols-The Best in the East was booked to take place (today) Saturday August 18th in Toronto Ontario, however due to many different circumstances in Toronto we had to withdraw from hosting this competition.

Bhangra Idols-The Best of the Best in Vancouver B.C. is taking place on Sunday Oct. 7th and will host high caliber teams from the East that will compete against the winners and qualifiers from the "The Best in the West" http://bhangraidols.com/ in addition to this competition we have added the "Juniors Best" competition. This entire event will be aired live and completed in 3.5 hours.

The Official announcement will be next week,

I would assume that the east coast teams have already been invited, or at least that's what I inferred from the "We have invited and selected teams from the East (Canada & USA) to compete against the West" statement from the Bhangra Idols account.

Answer: A competition is only as strong as the teams that support it. Also note, Bhangra Idols builds the competition culture around hometown teams who become ambassadors for out of town teams.
