Bhangra Masti 3 - Official Lineup/Website/Hotel

Just a quick heads up for everyone.. Bankian Naaran from New York City will not be competing at Bhangra Masti 3 because one of the dancers had an emergency and had to go overseas. The team was unable to find a replacement. We look forward for Bankian Naaran to compete at future Bhangra Masti Competitions and wish them good luck for thier upcoming competitions.

On a positive note, Kohinoor Folk Arts Club from Surrey, BC will be competing in Bhangra Masti's Traditional Category. This is the same team that competed with Rooh Punjab Dee in Bhangra World Cup which happened in Jalandhar, Punjab this past January. We look forward for KFAC to compete at our competition. Bhangra Masti Competition will resume in the following order:

1) Co-Ed/Modern Category

2) Girls Only Category

3) Traditional Category

The prizes for all categories will be announced on Sunday, January 4th. The judges for the competition will be introduced to all the teams at the mixer on January 10th. If any teams have any questions regarding the judging, they will be given time to ask the judges at the mixer. Also a quick reminder to all the teams, please reserve your rooms before Sunday, January 4th as that rate is only applicable till that date. The committee is extremely excited to meet all the teams and putting on a great show for everyone.

Too bad a California team dropped out from a Toronto competition, we also tried getting 2 Cali teams to Nation but a similar result occured.

Hopefully one day the Toronto community will be exposed to California bhangra teams...i hope!
