So I've been looking into leasing a new car. Stuck between the 328xi and the IS250 AWD.

Anyone have any suggestions?
Is the x-drive on the bmw worth it?
I drove them both and i really cant decide what i want..

I know some people say the IS250 is more of a womans car, idk. Opinions?

What do you guys think?

bmw's xdrive is a great feature that greatly improves the "drive" of the car, as well as safety and stability... however, bmw's are also known for high maintenance cost and somewhat unreliable behavior...

lexus has a proven record of being a stable reliable manufacturer... at the end of the day, choose the car that fits best to your lifestyle and your needs...

if u want an is, look for the 350. i know the 250 and 350 are really cramped and the seats are small in the front and back. and your right, th 250 is somewhat of a girly car. im a beamer guy, so i might be biased. but the 328xi, is the way to go, in my opinion. LOL

Id prolly stick to the 3 series.... i got a loaner 250awd though, and it's definitely fun to drive. there used to be thus hump under the driver's seat by ur right foot, for the AWD stuff, but i think they made that better. that was annoying as hell...

I definitely prefer the lexus interior to the bmw though-- bmw interiors look ancient, dont they?

I don't think I've driven that particular lexus before, but I've driven both a lexus and beemer (3 series) before and found the lexus to be easier to handle (steering wise)...but the beemer def had its plus points...power was amazing...and it seemed like a heavier car to me, which is something i actually like.

but yeah, now that I think about it...I see how difficult this decision is for you hahaha

If you go with the beamer, get all the bumper to bumper coverage you can, cause your shit is gunna be sitting in the shop a lot... I know a few people that own BMW's and they all agree on one thing, the long term quality of the car is equivalent to American vehicles... And the lexus, well it's a toyota, it will last for 200K miles...

well...
if you are just driving it for normal use meaning like daily things and stufff:

Audi A4 - its a bit more expensive then the IS but pretty much the same as the beemer and its more powerful better handling and more space! interior is much better then the beemer too but not better then the IS.

Mercedes C300 - power wise just about the same as the beemer but better then the IS. its pretty much the same as the beemer but its more luxurious.

if you like to drive normally but sometimes u like to speed =D

Mitsubishi Evo X - looks better, wayyy faster, better brakes, better suspension, better safety. THe only thing is its not a brand name like bmw, merc, etc
