Guys and gals,

Different sides are waiting on different moderation here. I won't release John's IP, as he hasn't broken/almost broken any user agreement terms and I will respect his privacy. I do not believe he is Bulldog Bhangra. As for the Bulldog vs B2B issue, it's certainly something that doesn't involve BTF moderators. I'm sure the two organizations can square away their stories to understand what happened. I will not moderate any other posts in this thread, as generally speaking they expressed opinions ("CHWOWOWOWOKED", "unprofessional"), but were not malicious attacks, really.

Best,
Saleem and co.

Wow!!! A lot I missed since yesterday. All this love for me. Thanks everyone!! Meistro, it will be tight if you wear a shirt like that and please have my name on it. I won't be there but at least my presence will be. By the way, my real name is John. Want my last name too?? It's Randhawa.

Anyways, I am just going to respond to all the posts as a whole. I know someone asked me if I was on a team. I am not on a team and I should have looked at it in a teams point of view too. I looked at it in the committee's point of view. There are reasons why a team can't perform that has tried really hard to perform at a competition or show but what I am trying to say is to let organizations know well in advance if you can not make it. Teams should have a deadline for themselves like a month before a show. B2B you guys have great talent and I'm not saying you guys don't. What I am saying is drop out at least a month before the show if you still don't think you can make it. That isn't just to B2B but for every team. It is one thing of teams saying from the beginning that we might not be able to perfrom. Organizations still have to look at them as a whole to other teams that applied. But, it is the job of the teams to drop out and give organization time to find a replacement regardless of what they told the organization when they applied.

I am a supporter of a show here in the Bay Area. We had a situation very similiar to the one that Bulldog is having this year. But, the difference for us was that ours was a show rather than a competition. We wanted a bhangra team to come out and perform and a week before the show they backed out. Their names were on the flyers and all. I don't believe in any way that was our fault but the public went out and said it was our fault. I just want teams to realize that and give committee's at least a month in advance notice if your in or out. That is all I have to say about this.

I do agree with Swi. This show isn't about B2B coming or not coming. There are other great teams for this show that are working really hard. Good luck to those teams and looking foward for them to put on a great performance.

I can't believe everyone including BTF members and Bulldog have made this such a big issue. We know this shit happens all the time and its the same drama that we've seen previously at other competitions. We've all seen this so many times that I think its a waist of time for us to get heated about these types if issues anymore, and try to call out ppl who think are affiliated with the comp and what not. Its so lame, whoo caresss. And I know I'm gonna get responses to this post about how it really IS a big deal and we SHOULDN'T let stuff like this fly, but I don't see it changing any time in the near future. Let's move on, be happy. Bhangra is bhangra, drama is drama.

Peace, Love, Mary Jane,
-J
