Hypocrisy? LoLLL before saturday night I actually considered bulldog to be a legit competition with GOOD values. But after this incident I think I'll rethink that opinion, so I will take my own advice and probably not attend next year! Btw, hey dipper I find it all too flattering that you would dig up my old post and use it against me. Nice try Try and uphold yourself in a more fashionable manner as you are a "reputable" organizer and have much better things to do than argue with little people like me

Just a few extra points I'd like to add on: I think we've expressed our opinions and whether the Organizers want to show it or not, I think they've got our point. Good luck to you guys next year on your show and hopefully you guys take a lot into consideration. I also just want to re-emphasize to the placing teams that although many believe your placings were unwarranted, that you (PCAC, ABC, NBA) guys still had awesome performances (as you might have read in my review) and I really enjoyed watching you perform. Keep up the good work. This was a solid and intense show to kick off the bhangra season. Just the way it should be.

I'm so sick of these threads after every comp, but it is really really sad that in all the judging drama the performances have been lost. Maybe because it's early and teams don't want to release videos we're left with nothing else to talk about online, but leave that shit at the comp. I'm sorry, but nobody cares after two weeks....it's on to the next 'slap in the face' for bhangra.

Everyone and their mother said the show was great and I wish for once we could have more positive discussions and celebrate the fun we have on stage instead of the drama we create over the trophies.

We have seen performances by all of these teams in the past, I don't need to see videos...there is just no way NBA/ABC deserves a placing over Heeray. Not even in anyone's dreams.

Pooja, although I, with many other people at the competition, was surprised by how Heeray (and Knightz) didn't place, I feel your generalizing comment to be extremely unwarranted. If you honestly think and look back at the years of bhangra, every team started somewhere and every team had to build themselves up.

To pigeonhole bhangra teams into categories of tiers from which they can't break out or stand a fighting chance against others is ridiculous. And that's the sort of attitude people in the bhangra community should 100% avoid-- every team deserves a chance to really step it up and get to that tier 1 level.

I mean shit, when VIBE was tier 1 (back in the day), would you say "oh I don't need to see videos, there's NO WAY a team would place over them at Bruin, I've seen them".... I mean come on, times/trends/etc change.

In ANY competition, you never know when a team might blow the audience and judges away and snag a well deserved placing, whether your prior opinion may or may not have indicated it to be 'possible'. Maybe a top contender just really messed up. Don't make generalizations like that.

I get you comrade, but you're living in a fantasy world...unfortunately most teams do not rise up left and right as much as we may hope they can. Especially in recent years when we have so many teams who start their 'career' at the top.

Also -- I'm not saying they don't stand a fighting chance, but it's obvious by the comments here that a top contender did not 'mess up.'
