Confirmed Fall 2010 Competitions?

If you can think of any competitions that are most likely happening this fall, please jot them down on this thread... it'll help all teams who are now effectively in Bhangra withdrawal and need applications to look forward too =).

Can competition organizers confirm dates as soon as practicable in order to inform teams of how to approach the first half? Finding out about a competition in Sept, after the set is ready, is really annoying because you have to change stuff to tailor to the competition's interest. So for example, if I wish to do AVAP (if it happens) and Boston, I would need to know when AVAP is in order to prepare accordingly. Please get all dates in before the Summer kicks in, because that's when the hard-work begins!

There will be a Cleveland Bhangra competition this coming year. There is a chance it will take place in Fall 2010 (though it may be pushed to Spring). Lebron may not be the only good reason to come to Cleveland!

Yea really, by far the most under represented city in terms of competitions given the South Asian population. Gotta see somebody step up.

Seriously man, NYC has established itself as a good region for bhangra. aeg.virsa.smd. cu.nyu.


there just is a lack of organized support for bhangra, it's just too fragmented.

Wasn't Blizzard and All Stars suppose to be in Feb/March? From what I remember there were some financial issues, so if they had issues a couple months ago - would it really be in their best interest to come back so quickly?
