Dagga size help!!! Someone help!

I've been looking for a new dhagga head for my dhol, problem is that i don't know what size my dagga is, somebody help me figure out how to get the size of the dagga. Do i measure the wooden shell outter size, or do i measure the entire dhagga skin i have, please respond. :-[

You measure the outer wooden shell with masking tape or ruler (not the entire drumhead)


- if the outer rim is 13", get 13.5"
- if the outer rim is 12", get 12.5"
- if the outer rim is 12.5", get 13"


*size of outer wooden shell + 0.5" = size of drumhead*

measure the skin that came with it from the inside of the rim, don`t know of anyone else that has bass skins in brampton anymore since madhvi is closed and me and my friend took the few good bass skins they had. contact rahul from house of bhangra if you need a skin

long story short...the crazy looking guy that used to run it didn`t like to pay rent lol
