I know b/c I stayed like a moron!
Thanks Kush!
I think I will do that too. Damn. lolJabar Jung said:im going to watch it again!
The director said he doesnt want to get into the robin saga.abhigames said:i was told that the guy who tries to reveal batman's identity eventually becomes the riddler. also, think about how they casted a well known actor (anothny michael hall or whatever his name) to the role of the tv newscaster - he could become a villain as well.
the joker is the anti-batman, the batman is the anti-joker...theyre jst compliments of each other, each unable to exist without the other. twoface is still alive - he is beind held in arkham where he is bantered by other criminals in there, eventually leading to him creating a deeper more evil two face persona
ra al ghul could come back as he is immortal...according to the comics batman falls in love with his daugther as well. robin could be interesting if they make him out to be the first robin (the one who ends up killing a person with a gun because the villian kills his girlfriend...he and batman part ways, but he later comes back as nightwing which would be siickkk)
they could bring harley quinn - a nice addition to the joker, but ultimately annoying. killer croc would be cool...The Mad Hatter could actually prove to be a versatile character, even the ventriliquist could be pretty creeepy going with the whole nolan schematic.
who knows though
This was such a great, suspenseful moment. I was just waiting for one of the boats to push the button, only to find out that it was rigged to their own explosives, killing themselves. That certainly would have fit in with the Joker's knack for creating chaos and confusion, but wouldn't have worked out as well thematically.Kush said:And final thought-provoking question. Could you/would you have pushed the button??? or would you even be able to throw the detenator off the boat, like that bigass excon dude did? (though i'm assuming you'd be on the citizen boat since i doubt any of our members are posting from a jail cell).
Yep, I thought that was what was going to happen - especially with all the twists we were handed to us. I totally agree that it would have been Joker's style. I'm sure it would have happened, but we shall never know. lolHans said:This was such a great, suspenseful moment. Hmmm, I really doubt that Dent will make another appearance, unfortunately. Nolan has tried to make everything in Batman make sense whether it was identifying each villian's madness or showing how the characters came to be (All of the Joker's stories were awesome). Dent fell down and presumably broke his back... unless they were able to save him and kept his existence from the public.Hans said:Also, the movie definitely makes you believe that Harvey Dent has died by the end, but I would bet money on him returning as at least 1 of the primary antagonists in the third one. I don't think the Riddler would be included with him, since that would be too similar to Batman Forever, but I could see another minor villain being reinvented and included with Two Face. Maybe the Penguin as a more realistic mob boss, as Sulmoney guessed. That could potentially provide some opportunities for Dent to struggle with his dual nature as he might have to cope with cooperating with an evil crime boss. Catwoman is another character with ambiguous morals that might make it interesting.
