I personally prefer it being an all Bhangra Competition. You lose out on the quality of the teams when you make it a half and half comp. Well than again this is just my personal taste and it's really upto you what kind of comp. you want to organize. Do you guys remember that comp. that was going to happen in New York a while back but didn't happen? It was called Gotham City Bhangra and had one sick line-up. I was soo looking forward on watching that comp and was depressed when I found out it had been cancelled. I would Love to go watch a comp. somewhere in New York with quality Bhangra teams.

HAHA sukha please dont bring up that effed up comp ever again...they still never paid us our freakin $1,800!!!!....i heard manjit from bankian naraan saw one of the organizers out in the city one nite and thats the only way they got their $ haha...they ceased to exist, wont respond to emails or nething

It will be 2 competitions in 1 show...7 fusion teams and 7 Bhangra teams. This is not a fusion vs bhangra comp.

We will be offering alternative to registration fees for all teams. More info just email me at desidhamakany@yahoo.com

Teams that are accepted to the competition will be offered an alternative to the registration fee.
Registration Fee:
Early Registration Fee $150 Late Registration Fee $200

Teams that can generate the following:
Sell 50 tickets will be refunded $50 towards the registration fee
Sell 100 tickets will be refunded $75 towards the registration fee
Sell 150 tickets will be refunded $100 towards the registration fee
Sell 200 tickets will be refunded $150 towards the registration fee
Sell 250 tickets will be refunded $200 towards the (late) registration fee

It helps us by selling tickets and helps the teams to pay less towards the registration fee

hmm I guess you'll just be losing the top college teams...but I think you'll still get plenty more so I don't think Blowout should be an issue for y'all.

i think itll definitely take away from the number of tickets sold...

it may or may not..We dont have a big crowd here that goes to Bhangra Blowout. Mostly the college student. But I think we should be fine. We just need to work harder no doubt. Sucks that there is hardly a date you pick now a days without conflicting. But its also a good thing that there are so many comps and so many optiions for teams..

before registration is offered to the general public. They are first given to the teams who applied to Bhangra Allstars but were not able to participate or were on the waiting list. Any remaining spots will then be up for grabs. As of now the Bhangra Category has 5 out of the 7 spots filled.
