I doubt its all psychological. I think it may be part psychological, but this disease has been known to affect people in different ways. This is a weird way to affect someone. It might be just a coincidence that it the symptoms started right after she got the flu shot, or it may be that the flu shot triggered the symptoms.

Dystonia is a neurological disorder... I don't know how neurological = psychological. Therapy sessions and prozac aren't going to help this girl.

My heart pours out for her and her family.

Also, the human body has many mysteries that are unknown to science. If "things made sense," then we'd all be healthy and would live to 100.

Science, especially neurology research, is an ever-expanding field. I've never heard of the disease she has but unless there is sufficient evidence, we cant just rule that its psychological just because it doesnt seem plausible.

Welcome to the medical industry ... most medicines don't do shit but facilitate industry ... for all you desis going to med school , no offense to you and the hard work you guys do , but I have people in my family that are doctors ... and they openly admit that doctors don't really do much, they just perform tests, prescribe drugs, and then rack up the money. To people ... unless your arm get severed off by some freak accident, eat your fruits and vegetables and you won't really need drugs and doctors.
