Like sprinting in a form of interval training, will it help with bhangra, Jogging doesnt really seem like itd really do much, but sprinting would help improve your body dealing with lactate so should help with bhangra?
What are some other good forms of training besides run throughs to assist with bhangra?

I would say swimming and light weight lifting really helps especially shoulders and legs it helps build a strong base for squatting moves etc.. but obviously hitting the routine is the best way.

Yes I agree with @Jattmoney21 .I have been doing routines quite often and I could see the difference in my stamina and the style of choreography as well.I would definitely recommend to do routine with full energy.

1) stretch and activate your core - glutes, hip flexors and abs are hugely important to dancing and try to do it when you aren't at practice either - flexibility = longevity

2) interval training is great for dynamic sets. Really gets your body in shape for a difficult routine. Listen to the mix while doing it to have a routine that reflects your set.

The best Bhangra stamina workout you can do is multiple run throughs of your routine back to back at 100%. If you're able to do two back to back all out run throughs without any mistakes, without dying out, all jumps, all squats done properly, all the "hoyes" yelled properly. Then you should be good. Don't waste your time doing non bhangra work outs. It won't build your mind to rip it up on stage when youre performing. You have to build muscle memory of your routine by doing run throughs over and over again. You'll build more than just stamina, you'll get more comfortable with your own routine and will be able to kill it on stage.

Most of the points have already been mentioned when it comes to stamina building, resistance training, hiit, back to back sets for Bhangra, etc
but eating the right foods will benefit you the most. Stay away from highly acidic and toxic foods or else they will ruin everything you worked for..

Everyone made good and valid points! I want to add that nutrition is very important to maintain peak performance. As an athlete (I consider dancers athletes) it is very important that we feed our bodies the fuel it needs. What is that fuel? High-quality protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. Protein so our body can repair itself after intense training sessions. Carbohydrates to provide out body with long lasting energy. Finally, high-quality fats have been shown to keep the bones strong and keep the joints loose and healthy. Now along with that, you need to consume the right amount of calories. http://www.active.com/fitness/calculators/calories is a good way to calculate your calories. Hope this helps!

This statement, plus good exercise, is the most important part of this thread. If you view yourself as an athlete, doing run-thrus is not enough (and a lot of reason why people have so many injuries, etc). Its a total effort to be in the best dancing shape: dancing, exercise, stretching, nutrition.

Lots of good stuff!
