I used to listen to a lot of punk rock/ska (mostly underground/non-sell out bands) back in high school.

Some bands I liked: Green Day, 311 (meet them & have an autographed shirt), Nirvana, AFI (meet them), Foo Figthers, Bad Religion, Propagandhi, Sublime, Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, Mustard Plug (meet them & have an autographed shirt), Buck-O-Nine (meet them & have an autographed shirt), Pennywise, NOFX, Mighty Mighty Bostones, Suicide Machines, MxPx, No Doubt, Weezer, Relient K, etc etc.

I could probably name about 50 more that most people have never heard of, but I'm lazy


I've had the honor seeing a lot of these bands perform LIVE, which is always an amazing experience.

Depends on what you classify as rock. People can take that as soft rock, classic rock, rock n roll, British rock, progressive, indie, thrash metal, death metal, neoclassical, virtuoso, etc.
