Funny stories: Competition weekends

I've been in a lot of places, and been in some very funny situations. What are some of the funniest stories that you guys have, regarding the weekends of a competition you've been to?

For example, on the way down to NC in Fall 2006, I made a prank call to Benny pretending to be a Physics teacher at school. I accused him of cheating and this guy got uber scared. After I told him nothing would happen, I asked him what underwear he was wearing, and he was f***** speechless hahahhaa...

Sneaking in the GTV cameras in my jeans for Bruin... that was an adventure and a half...

Playing landmine the night before a competition, getting really drunk and shouting the n-word in the parking lot filled with random people in Cincinnati. Never again.

Boston 2006 when a few of the duniya boys were wondering the streets and we walked into an alley. Balraj (jawani dholi) walks into this caged area and the door shuts. He was sh*tting bricks cuz he thought he was locked in and tried climbing......the door wasnt locked. As he was halfway up the cage, we open the door. We all died laughing......this one isnt funny, more memorable....walking to boston 06 venue in our vardiyan while raju played dhol. People on the streets loved it.

Going to Toronto for Masti....Nikhil put all the kante and phumana in zip-lock bags with our names on them to keep things organized, as well as the uniforms all separated(Border security was convinced we were trying to smuggle these valuables across the border and sell them).... we had to explain everything, and do a little of our sapp segment to show them what we meant....hilarious

Also...for Pao BHangra, me and Waleed changed a move we were doing in the dance....and while we were watching the tape after it was over...everyone was like....did you guys do that move different? hilarious that no one noticed we changed it during any of the run throughs...good times.

hmm...how about when we somehow lost half of the chaadre the day of Bhangra Royale...and had to go to a fabric store in Jackson Heights and get new "ones"...

oh and we also left a bag of chimtas in the lobby at school....and didn't know they were gone until like the next semester...

hahaha this is hilarious!

For our first major competition ever, Blowout 12 in 05, we were a young bunch of kids just doing whatever we wanted. I remember the night we got there, after the mixer, we drove around the city blasting Bhangra...after that we came back to the hotel and parked right in the middle of traffic, grabbed a bunch of kundey and started doing our "guys" segment in the middle of the road...

The next day, we had to spray paint our kundey because it needed some touch up, so right outside the main lobby we sprayed the shit out of our kundey and left huge black spray paint marks on the pavement hahaha.

After the competition, alot of us got hammered, and in particular, this one guy named Nitin was upstairs at the bar (Post office Pavillion for all you DC heads). He was already gone, and he was just trying to keep it going. He was obviously underage too, but he managed to get to the upper level anyhow. He orders some drinks and he acts like he owns the joint. The bartender than asked him how he was going to pay. So this crazy guy grabs the drinks, and as he walks away he says (nonchalantly) "put it on my tab"...some poor fool got a wicked bill at the end of that night for sure hahaha

at AVAP..the "songs" that the bhangra xpress guy sang in the room and in the lobby..LOL i still have videos from that..those songs were jus classic ahaha does any1 remember wut im talkin bout?? lol

at the bhangra bash 2008 afterparty when I was pretty wasted and decided to buy a few drinks for like 3 of the jawani girls (my fav girls) and I handed the bartender a $100 bill. I walked away and one of the girls was like "meistro dont u want your change?" but no, I didnt listen. I realized the next day my stupidity when I looked in my wallet. hahahah

For those of you who have not experienced a Bulldog weekend, this was posted in January of this year after we went to book hotels for this years comp........ alll jokes now......... hope you enjoy the comedy we find in this.

My tongue slipps and i was like "ohlast time, bla bla.." and shes like "uve been here" i was like yea! i thought we booked under bulldog bhangra last time, so dippy says "SSA"she found our file and HAHAHAHAH were apparantly "red flagged" and she couldnt even find the contract cuz it was hidden under so many police reports from last time! but then we recovered saying were the same organization but COMPLETELY different ppl...poor thing believed us! LOL here we go again!

Mandi dude the main reason they wont allow us back is because we keep bringing our own food to every hotel..not all the police reports or damaged property..but because of food.
