that was an intense and energetic performance. i loved it! Apna Punjab was perfect, and the saap segment was realllly cool. Ending segment had great energy and I actually thought this perf was energetic all throughout. you guys are sick dancers and looking uniform, and your choreo's interesting!

there was a dropoff in "excitement" during dhamaal segment i thought (i also wouldnt have done a fast jhummar song). the gatorade thing didnt really hit for me either. these are just small nitpickings on a clean and exciting performance overall! Paper planes bedi segment was TOP. keep it up, this was damn good and a well-deserved placing! congrats!

HAHAHAHAHAH THE GATOR RAAS GIMMICK, which as I tell everyone, is the lamest gimmick in the history of dance.

In collegiate raas, there's a concept of themes that have become almost mandatory at competitions. Gator Raas at Miami Mayhem 2009 made Gatorade their theme and took a 30 second break half way through their routine to essentially enjoy a water break (but with Gatorade, of course) and then mask it as part of their theme. Really not sure why any self-respecting bhangra team would do the same.

Y'all are getting better in choreography and coordination. Not sure what your rational was for justifying the Gatorade gimmick - it unfortunately did come off as really lame. Even if you didn't drink actual Gatorade, it's completely random, has no impact/entertainment value and the set loses cohesion.

We were trying to get some creativity into the routine, since those were one of our cons in previous performances. The Gatorade gimmick didn't really turn out the way we wanted. Though we did learn from our mistake, and plan on coming back with some more entertaining creativity ;) Thanks for the feedback.

I meant, Garbafest 2009. And I never got mad after raas competitions - each one had a happy ending. :) (Except maybe Garbafest 2010, which had the unfortunate fate of taking place on my 22nd birthday. lol)

Damn so THATS what bhangra organizers are missing.

I think the gimmick fell flat. If you really want to stick with this gimmick (Dont, because "is it in you?" isnt as strong of a brand slogan as "Just Do It" etc), the sign should be "FS" with a lightning bolt in between.

Great team though, I really enjoy watching you guys!

I've always liked your choreo in general - but this time you guys danced like men and gave the set justice. Guys were ripping the prop segments. Also, the video doesn't convey it so well, but your passion/heart/soul really came through in this performance and definitely resonated in the audience. It was extremely enjoyable to watch and i told you you'd place haha ;) congrats again!

Gimmick totally failed haha, and you should have at least DRANK lol! The idea itself had potential but next time just make sure your gimmick flows in and out of the set smoothly and that it has a purpose, doesn't look random

Observation: Your style of creativity is very subtle and intricate. This is not a bad thing actually I respect it a lot, but little twists (like the way you did chaffa with shykka pushing shykka up into the air) are ideas that only people very familiar with bhangra will notice and be able to appreciate. For this reason, I think a great gimmick or trick would do your team well, by making an impact with the general crowd grabbing their attention

Bobby and Daman killed it. Obviously your best routine to this point, and I expect to see more and more growth from you guys in the future. Best piece of advice I could give you guys- don't join any collegiate teams when you get to that point. Stay independent and keep your core group. You have a great future.

Help me to understand...they danced like boys before? Other than an improved change in coordination, their moves seem to be at a faster tempo and mroe aggressive to me from previous routines. Is that it?

nice analysis guys: i think you're both right. Ashveer is spot on in how much this team has become homogenous and fast, while maintaing grace.

Also: Amazing set. I've always been sure to catch FS' performances and its awesome to see them stepping it up every time and not resting on their laurels stylistically or otherwise. I also echo Harman's sentiment if you guys can figure it out logistically.
