Harmon Kardon makes their own components for professional companies, usually not available to the general public retail scene... All BMW premium systems are HK... They have home components which are of very high quality, but that consists mainly of home theater components...

yea, i realized that, after i kept looking through it, and then checking out B&W and Mark Levinson. these are the best for stock premium sound.

im planning on getting the new camaro in a few months and i want to change out all the speakers. I'm thinking of sticking with boston acoustics but just upgrading them from what the camaro originally comes with, and adding two 10" subs under the back seats if its possible. or go with polk audio components and get one Rockford T2 12" sub.

try the pioneer or jl audio shallow mount sub... its performance will surprise you...

i thought they did that. i was gonna get a toshiba, but went with an hp. in a few years, im jumping to the mac's. this is the last pc im keeping.

I had heard B&O also making sound systems for cars, and ofc there is the Mark Levinson systems in the lex. After listening to the HK and Levinson systems in their respective cars, I found the Levinson to be better.

nice, sounds like a fun car man. and i know its all fun. friendly competitive talk is always koo. im not down for that, eff you, my shits better then ures, or u got nuthin on me. i jus like to have fun, and get a crew of peeps with similar cars and go out for a roadtrip kinda stuff.

B&O and B&W are the most amazing speakers to have in a car. B&W are one of the world's leading theater speaker comapnies, and they just impress. If you can get those in a car...awesome!

5.4l v8 with what kleeman goodies to be exact? k1, k2, k3, k4???

glad to see you know your into cars as well... currently running a kleeman k2 but itching for the k4... problem is i dont want to modify the throttle body as that will greatly increase IAT's and cost me more money in cooling upgrades... k2 is mighty fast as is though....

Did you get the car checked out for IAT's? I think benz might have done either a tsb OR recall becuase of HIGH IAT's on the 5.4l. You can just get a better intercooler when you do the tb increase to 80mm( I think, not 100%). As you said, it's all a question of if you want to spend more money. You got an e-class?
