just search "turla" on this site. it's been talked about to death. just takes alot of practice and if you are relying only on the video as i had to pay close attention to where on the forehead each larh is placed and how wide each on is.

One think people don't seem to understand is that amount of time it takes to really get good at tying pugga. Its not something you can learn in a day or a week. It takes months of practice to become decent/good at it. It took me almost a full year to get really good at it, you just have to keep practice regularly and do what works for you. Videos and advise helps but it comes down to what you do with your hands while your tying it. Something you have to just get use to and do over and over again.

Best video, by far. And what Havish said about practice is very very true. This weekend, I'll have been tying pagg's for one year exactly, and I'm still not consistently good. It takes constant practice, patience, and more practice. Also, a very big factor is how much starch you use, how well you make the mava (this all pertains to the turla part). Just keep on trying! oh and make sure you get good material for the pagg! I have done it with horrible cotton, and they come out a thousand times worse. Full voile, all the way.
