You guys honestly rocked this performance, For me watching this performance was honestly a pleasure in reference to the culmination of skilled dancers. I thought that you guys and NYPD had a solid 16 dancers throughout. It is really hard to make this happen, you guys didn't dummy anything down, while your choreography was traditional, you guys managed to develope intracacy throughout your formations and stage precense in general. Another thing that was done extremely well was this mix, hats off to the song selection, and the use of newer melodies to older songs. It is really something hard to do and y'all made it work. A clean mix but an extremely creative one, once you listen closely ;), it made me want to keep watching the performance from Manmohan Waris to Balkar Sidhu, and everything else. All in all this was the elite set, gimmicks throughout the DANCING and consistent flow of the routine. The only thing lacking in the whole performance was properly tied chadre, it really distracted me and it definitely restricted dancers to go 100% at times. one other thing that I felt that you guys did along with NYPD and UNC was having the package, at a point or two there were messups but you guys had a strong start body and end, along with that a good mix, and on top of that balanced dancers. Sometimes there were even core members Who looked a bit weaker but again I feel like chadre had to do a lot with this. Great set deserved more recognition and shouldn't be taken lightly, that too being JJ's last set, what a set.

one of the best performances of the night ;) . Ripped it from beginning to end, it's sad to see that you guys aren't going to compete any more, but one heck of a performance :) .

one of the cleanest all guys teams on the circuit next to PCBCA. excellent use of the stage, you didn't just do formations, but you really emphasized consistent movement throughout the routine.

KILLED ITTTTTTTTTT

Definitely my favorite performance of the night! The fact that you guys truly kept the traditionality aspect throughout the routine while creating complex formations and choreo keeps my eyes glued to the screen each time I watch the video... I've probably seen it 20 times by now... :-D

Biggest thing I like about the performance in addition to the overall choreo/formations was the fact that as a team you guys really make it seem as though you are truly enjoying yourselves on stage. Everyone looks and dances like they want it so baddddd and thats what really makes a team successful, with or without a trophy.

As Cherag mentioned above, idk what was going on with chadhre... weren't in your favor, but even then the dancers didn't let those errors get in the way of their JJ SWAG ;-)

After reading Sheel's most recent thread, and agreeing with him in terms to his opinions regarding gimmicks and truly showcasing "bhangra" on stage... Joshiley Jawan were one of the few teams at Elite 8 that had continuously flowing bhangra on stage throughout their routine and may you guys continue to tear up every stage you all step on!

Definitely deserved first place! Besides a few slips everyone seemed to be on point. Hopefully you guys get together to perform at least once a year, don't just stop !

WOW. Hands down favorite set from Elite 8 this year. One of my all time favorite jhoomer sets... the Yellow guy completely folks the shit out of that Jhoomer set... simply amazing.

Wow! This performance was crazy! Jhoomer was my favorite segment. All of the dancers looked like they were having fun. Choreography was traditional and the formations were sick! Only thing that I personally didn't like was the flash mob. Maybe if I had gone to the show I would have enjoyed it more. All in all, you guys did really good job!!!

Can't stop watching this performance over and over again. The perfect example of pure hardcore bhangra at its best. Its been a pleasure watching and the mix is just too ill itself. Hella sick...congrats on a great performance and staying true to the art. Now if I can just focus on my studying as much as I have on these videos.

btw...second video 5:44...love the energy...after 3 prop segments...the energy just keep coming :O

Crazy creative set. And dope mix too
100000% agreed. Watching this set live was just phenomenal and even with the show close to a week over I can not stop watching this one especially along with NYPD's set. The mix is just straight up fire and dancers too. You guys killed it and definitely a good show opener, hands down! Only if you guys were further in the line up, definitely would have been a close one between JJ & NYPD. But overall: one of the best elite 8 sets ever!! Would be fantastic to see you guys dance again.

JJ is definitely a true representation of the immense talent that the DMV area has to offer. To see some of the more senior/older dancers from the area as well as newer dancers come together on stage and perform at the same level is truly commendable and amazing to watch. Really hope that this group of dancers in particular comes together and performs again! Extremely happy that I got to watch this set live - loved the set from the choreo to the mix to the formations, everything flowed and was entertaining but the "bhangra" in no way was lost.

Regardless of who won, who was cleaner, who was more creative, etc. JJ's performance was definitely one of the favorites of the night and the quality and standard of this performance is undeniable.

Jhummar was my personal favorite - been listening/watching it on repeat! :)

Set was SICK. There was so much going on and yet so little at the same time.. there was a finesse and form about the set, that was quite special. There was solid, raw bhangra where I saw a lot of dancers perform really well. It was a great planned set and well executed. There is a LOT of talent on JJ and I hope they continue to perform in the future. I especially enjoyed the saap, jhoomer and end segments, they were out of this world! It is too bad the sound cut out, but I'm glad no one skipped a beat and kept the energy up.. This was a very impressive performance. Fantastic job!
