the only reason it wasn't as funny as i expected it to be was probably because i had seen all the funny parts 3 or 4 times already via the trailer for the show. my parents loved it and i will def be watching it next week, its cute :D

have you all seen the movie, Outsourced. The show is basically an exact copy of the movie, and the show sucks compared to the movie.......

That show is so racist and stereotypical. I find it insulting to say the least. Really, that is the funniest way White America could portray south-asians? By going to the heart of American sterotypes? White America will eat this right up and South-Asians will continue to be "thank you come again" types. I hope that show is canceled sooner than it actually will be.

ahh, idk about that. it's a 2 way street, we laugh at black, mexican, asian jokes and depictions (dave chapelle, carlos mencia, margaret cho, SNL, mad tv.. list goes on).

Purely based on comedic value, the show SUCKED. I thought it was ok, def not tuning in for the next episode.

dvr'd it and watched the first episode lastnight...as was already mentioned, literally ALL THE MATERIAL from the trailer was in the pilot...I'm pretty sure this show will flop unless writers can somehow extract jokes from something else other than them being in India.

Shows like The Office have had such success because the material draws from all different walks of life in a variety of situations. How many times can a show like this make a joke about a turban..which was already made in the pilot?

I will watch next week but mark my words..I would be surprised if it makes it past a single season.

I saw the movie and then watched episode 1. It's almost an exact copy of what happened in the movie. The movie wasn't all that, so I don't expect a lot out of this show.

I agree with Jeeti in that they are gonna need to draw from other places rather than just jokes about the Indian culture/stereotypes/etc.

My prediction is that this show won't make it out of season one.

Agreed with all above on all counts. I'm not sure why everyone on FB is going bananas over this show. Ridiculously over-hyped.

It bored me to death. The Manmeet name and the Grits dialogue was honestly the only funny parts. Story lacked any real punch and it was seriously too stereotyped. I don't understand what directions the writers will even try to take the show. The storyline is already over in my mind.

AND THE WORST PART? Way too much Panjabi MC.
