we made 10 sapps in construction class couple years back for like 70 bucks

depends on material, wood is cheap, plastic/composite is expensive and so is high quality hardware like machine screws and nylon insert lock nuts, stainless steel washers, nylon spacers. the first set of saaps i made was out of a material called koma, extruded low density pvc, the ones im currently making are out of high density polyethylene. the amount of plastic or composite you need for 12 saaps is probably gonna cost $100 - $150.
