Dopamine is the drug that people regularly link to the "chemical imbalance" in human beings who have ADD or ADHD(its a fifty-fifty compromise). Amphetamines, in human beings that dont have lesions or any other biogical problems, will instantly release or block re-uptake of said dopamine into the body. You probably know this, but I wanted to spell it out for everyone else. The adderall is supposed to give larger doses of dopamine to the body to help with memory, problems solving, and etc.

The reason I, and I will say, threw carelessly the word "seizures" is since amphetamines do effect other neurotransmitters that do lead to body arousal, things such as pulse and heart rate go up. The thing college students who tend to "binge" on these pills tend to get addicted and shit goes downhill from there. Obviously, in a moderated dosage, this would not cause many side effects as otherwise it wouldnt be given as a drug. Just "taking it" will just fuck you up.

i hope you do well on all of your exams and stuff. it sucks being a bio major even though it pays off in the end - just the whole process to get there reallyyy sucks - and east carolina is hardcore with its science programs and its medicine students (hence: top 10 med school)....so our classes here are absolutely killerrr

our profs are really good - not gona lie...one of my anatomy teachers last year works at the medical school as well and he was the first to patent the very first pregnancy testing system...kinda funny i see him smoking outside his office building everyday at 3 pm hahaha...if you need powerpoint notes or anything or practice exams lemme know id be more than happy to help you out!

Ummm..... I have no doubt that your classes are difficult, but what source are you using to back-up your top-10 medical school statement? Primary care or research? I'll most likely be applying this year and I'm just curious

Just gonna throw it out there, there's no correlation between a rigorous undergraduate science program and a well-ranked medical school. Ohio State is ranked 27th in Research according to US News.

Motivation: Listen to Baljit Malwas 'Maujan' and think about what you're parents/guardians went through to get you to be in the place you are right now. It's true that you are the one who worked your ass off to get into the uni/college that you are currently enrolled in, however I think it is with the well wishes and aashirwaads of your parents and elders that you are still going. Just think about the smiles and joy they will feel when they see their youngins walking up on stage to get their undergraduate degree/graduate degree so they can brag to their friends, etc...

Plus, it's your time to fight back and show up all the haters that once said you stood no chance.

As I attempt to cram an entire course of virology, parasitology, pathology, and half a course of immuno into the next 3-4 days, i'd like to wish the rest of you good luck as well. and remember... its just grades. seriously.
