My apologies to BTF

I just want to apologize to everyone who read those words on the "summy" thread. Ranjit and I have talked it out, and we have both apologized to each other for the way that we have talked and actually have decided to start new.

I want to uphold the respect that people have been showing me lately and so I will have to apologize for that last thread. Another reason is that we as sikhs should never fight. How many times do I complain that Sikhism is too divided? Well I am furthering that notion when I act the way I acted. So I want to apologize again to Ranjit and BTF for that display. Not that I think it is acceptable for hindus or muslims to fight with sikhs, it is just within my community I have an obligation to treat my brothers and sisters with respect.

I am not sure if this is the thread to mention it or not, but as I have told many of you that have PM'd me that I will probably be leaving BTF soon, for good. I talked to my personal teacher, and explained to me that negative energy is the worst thing you can give to a aspiring atma that is trying to reach some sort of spiritual level. I was naam jaaping this morning and I was thinking about that statement, and I don't want people to think negative about me, if I am trying to give my soul and the departed souls of my ancestry some sort of relief. I feel that at times I get that energy, even though Vick and others have mentioned that we would like to start new.

So I will be leaving soon, not decided when just yet. But I want to leave on a good note and not one that people will have grudges against me and the sort of morals that I have tried to give across.

I dont know if you leaving will handle any grudges (that might remain here online). those who dont like you will probably just be like 'oh im glad hes gone its about time' etc etc. I dont understand why you feel like you have to stop posting.

you know a feature i noticed on another forum that i am a part of for parkour...you can add friends or FOES in ur profile account, and if u add friends, those people's posts will be highlighted and in a update when u sign in, and for foes, u cannot dsee posts that foes make, nor can foes contact each other or see each other at all.

i duno why i just mentioned that i figured i might as well, maybe it could be a add on feature to BTF, and maybe it can solve this problem that summy jan is facing.

ok its time to start an online petition for Summy to STAY on BTF and to show him that there is no more negative energy towards him. I speak on behalf of many people on this forum when I say that I have learned a lot from his insight, intellect, and knowledge. I don't think I know of anyone else our age with the worldly knowledge that he carries. He is a well-rounded individual.

Not to ruin the emotions, but I don't think you can "leave" I mean I couldn't find the way to actually delete an account, lol, so you might as well stay on and keep posting What's the point of fixing things if they're gonna end look how everyone's coming together now this is the best time for everyone to STAY. I know personally I have learned a lot from BTF not from fighting but other things I've become more mature, and it's best to stay and develop, not to leave



Hopefully this doesn't reduce the legitimacy and sincerity of my post, but if anyone has seen the cricket episode of From Gs to Gents this sorta relates to Kesan and how he decided to stay, haha

Oh man, I want to thank everyone for what they said. You guys have defintely changed my opinion and I have learned a lot from everyone of you guys.

For everyone who responded to this thread, I sent them a PM message explaining my situation. I dont want to leave BTF, it is a great site, and the people can sometimes get you riled up and sometimes make you proud, but its all good in the end.

My situation is up in the air, and I might not be here in September, or I might be here until Nov/December. It is up in the air, and those who got my PM can understand why.

BUt until then, I hope that we can all make the last few months of my time on this site, a pleasurable one.

i respect your claim about trying to be a better, more spiritually attuned person. Though surely that doesn't necessitate breaking from BTF forever. Dude, what the hell are you talking about leaving for? Are you crazy. After all the essay you've written on here and now you're saying you quite? I like reading your posts. I use them as my "daily reading"

Your posts are always very well written and intellectual. I like how you talk about other things on here, for example the things that are going on in Punjab and the rest of the world. Your posts are very informative, and I can be sure everything you say are facts because I know that you did research and you always have a lot evidence to support you statement. Sometimes, I do intend to disagree with you, but after reading all the things you've wrote down to support your statement, I begin to understand where you're coming from, and I respect that. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that.

Because this is BHANGRAteamsforum, the main attention is towards all the posts about bhangra. But sometimes it's important to step away from bhangra and learn about what else is going on outside the bhangra scene. But you already do that for us, and inform us on what's going on. Vick, you crack me up with your comments about Parul.

But on the point of Summy, your point of view is always interesting. As you can see, people learn from it..and opens their own world view. It's important stuff
