kyrie irving is going to put the cavs back on the map in the eastern conference.
camby to the knicks. this is a solid backup to tyson chandler and it ensures the knicks will always have a true center on the floor

But seriously, Tyson Chandler on the US National Team instead of DeMarcus Cousins? Really?
Player 1: 9.9 rpg .9 apg 1.4 bpg 11.3 ppg
Player 2: 11rpg 1.6 apg 1.2 bpg and 18.1 ppg

Player 2 is Cousins, obviously. Sure, he takes more shots than Chandler, but he's ranked #1 in the league in offensive rebounds and is up there in total rebounds too, plus he had 36 double doubles last year (6th in the league behind Love, Dwight, Pau, Griffin and Bynum), or nearly twice as many as Chandler. There are plenty of raw scorers on the team, but Cousins jams the lane for opposing bigs, draws a lot of charges (lead the league in that stat) and rebounds like a man possessed.

Kyries going to have a huge impact in Cleveland he might even make them a consistent playoff team again, that is only up until he decides to take his talents elsewhere

Defensive presence and experience bro. He played a big role in the 2011 finals and is the defensive player of the year. Plus cousins has the "immature" tag on him, even if he's gotten better. We do need more bigs considering Dwight and bosh are out, but it'll be fun seeing Lebron at the 5, melo at the 4, and Kobe at 3 from time to time. Can't wait!

I read an article that said that the president of the US team said that Cousins didnt make the team because of how immature he was during practices. Apparently during practices Cousins was being disrespectful on and off the court, so thats most likely the reason why the president did not think Cousins should not have been apart of the team, because he did not want someone like Cousins, a guy that trash talks being an image for the US team at the olympics. In my opinion though he def should have made it. Here is the article

Also heres an article about how Cousins went up to the president and asked him about how he is immature haha

Reshard Lewis signed with the heat.... smh :\

Dammmm, talk about teams with 3 point threats in the 2012-2013 NBA season! That's gonna be insane.

Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Allen, Lewis - how much more stacked do you want to make a team??

You guys seem to forget, TC was a part of Team USA during the FIBA world championships, and with Dwight out, he was going to be the next option without any doubt, especially with the experience he's had with the great Coach K and many of the guys on that roster. And Demarcus is a chump, dude needs to grow up if he ever wants to represent USA in any form on the international stage.

as good as the heat looks for next year there are still some teams they should be worrying about with Nash on the lakers now they're going to be moving the ball way smoother and faster they wont have to force a lot of shots like they've had to in the past, lets just hope its enough to stop the Miami Cheat those guys are just creating a undefeatable team shit is getting ridiculous like wasn't having Bosh, James, Chalmers and Wade enough now they got Ray Allen AND Reshard Lewis! its just an unfair game now thats like the BIG 5

Perception ≠ Reality.

Demarcus has gotten a bum rap as a result of his admittedly immature first year, and he paid for it all year this year with non-calls and soft fouls. Not to mention the fact that Colangelo didn't straight-up tell Demarcus, "hey, you need to play a bit less physically (which would have been interesting for a guy fighting for a spot on the team)" but decided to say that Demarcus was being too physical in the media instead. Cousins, rightly I think, asked Colangelo for an explanation as to why he'd gotten publicly burned with the goal of changing his behavior and trying to win a spot and then Colangelo brushed him off. Who looks immature there?

Cousins is still learning, but he's working his ass off to be a team player and he's an absolute monster of a player in his own right.

Now that the Nets are no longer after Howard where do u think he goes? I believe he goes to Atlanta. Henigan wants picks, young pieces and he wants to shed some bad contracts. The Lakers can't offer that only Houston and Atlanta can. I actually wouldn't be surprised though if dwight stays in Orlando now because he can't go to the Nets. However if he stayed it would be hard to make the Magic fans forget all that happened. I think Dwight's situation is exactly like Kobe's when the Lakers were rebuilding. The only way to make people forget about his demands is by winning.

I read an article on nba.com that i cant seem to find anymore, and it had something to do with Dwight going to the Lakers.. and Bynum going to Rockets while Magic gets like 3 future 1st round picks from Houston.. it also said that the Lakers would also have to Jason Richardson as well and perhaps Hedo

poor Dwight i see him staying in Orlando with barely any playing time no team wants to take there chances with his back injury if anything he'll go to the hawks just so he doesn't have to wear a magic jersey next season

the nets are about to sign jerry stackhouse haha. didn't know he was still in the nba.
is it me or have the new max contracts still been ridiculous under the new CBA? brook lopez, eric gordon, and roy hibbert are all getting 4 year $60MM offers. blake griffin just got a 5 year $95MM extension.
i think griffin is worth that type of money but i don't know if the rest are worth that much this early in their careers.

So griffin goes down injured and they pick Davis to replace him. You know, that guy who hasn't played a minute of pro ball. Not the consensus top five center in the league. Davis is good, without a doubt, but I couldn't name a single person not named Jerry Colangelo who'd take Davis over Demarcus. Stick the two of them on a court and let em battle for that last spot. Guarantee you that Demarcus would outmuscle, out hustle and all-around outplay Davis.
