So griffin goes down injured and they pick Davis to replace him. You know, that guy who hasn't played a minute of pro ball. Not the consensus top five center in the league. Davis is good, without a doubt, but I couldn't name a single person not named Jerry Colangelo who'd take Davis over Demarcus. Stick the two of them on a court and let em battle for that last spot. Guarantee you that Demarcus would outmuscle, out hustle and all-around outplay Davis.

^^ Agree with this. Putting Anthony Davis in was really a "WTF" moment.

Demarcus would have served as a MUCH better backup for the center position. The alternates for the team are: Eric Gordon, Rudy Gay, and Anthony Davis and Davis doesn't compare at all to his fellow teammates on the Olympic team.

I wish Dwight was healthy because having him at center with Griffin/Chandler as backups would have been a more lethal combination. Heck, I think even putting Kevin Love in as a center would have been a better option then Davis.

Whatever though... comparison to 92' Dream Team? GTFO Kobe!
