I missed the entire game, I checked my phone and LA was up when I clocked off at work. Only to get home and see that they lost. At this point, disappointed is an understatement when it comes to these three games. I still believe LA can turn it around, but it'll take beyond a miracle to do it. "Angels on the hardwood" ;D

A superstar's demeanor shows you how great a player will be. What is it that lebron has done in his career to prove his greatness as a player. I've said it before, i'll say it again, Lebron is a great ATHLETE (He would make an awesome SS or OLB in football, he's a highly skilled athlete, but thats it), he's only a good ball player, his athleticism has been very beneficial for him in the game thus far but that wont cut it. He doesn't have desire, heart, or will/attitude to be considered "superman". Who does though?

Will/Attitude=Dwayne (kush mentioned the things he's done up to this point, as well as the things he did in the 2006 finals, i got nothin more to add)

Desire=Kobe (even being this old, this rundown, he still has that desire of being a champion, 15 years in the league, bottom of the hill, he still wants to win, "I don't know, I might be sick in the head or crazy or thrown off or something like that because I still think we're going to win this series"..."I might be nuts. ... Let's win on Sunday, go back home and see if they can win in L.A."-kobe said it in the post game interview last nite).

Heart=Steve Nash (any dude that can get his face busted open and still play the game deserves to be considered a great BALL PLAYER, even if he doesnt have rings under his belt, he is more of a winner/ball player than lebron bar none. And i dislike the suns, because of the '05-'07 suns, he none the less deserves being considered great)

I've given you two examples with guys with a ring, and one without. So where does Lebron "superman" fall in this category to be considered a great BALL PLAYER?

Let each person stand on their own. Kobe is the greatest player in the game SINCE THE JORDAN ERA! THIS IS NOT REALLY A DEBATABLE FACT.

Lebron and Wade have a very competitive generation, and its only getting more difficult as talent grows (see Durant, Rose, Wall, etc). We are past the times where there is ONE player who defines the game, who is the epicenter.

Lebron is in no way Wades robin though KP. And all your comments have points but only to a certain extent. Lebron is an TREMENDOUS athlete, to the point that hes an AMAZING basketball player. Lebron doesnt have the desire heart or want to win? WHY WOULD HE GO TO MIAMI THEN?! OF COURSE he does, he was willing to sacrifice money, fame, and popularity to win! thats the ULTIMATE sacrifice for the poster boy of the league.

I dont care to hear who the next great one is because its irrelevant and unimportant. All i know is my team has 2 of the best basketball players of this generation on their starting five, and we're gonna be bringing a couple trophy's to miami.

He averaged 45 some points n.15 rebounds in da.finals....and when.shaq left kobe didn't do shit....I dont think they ecen.made playoffs one.of the years...not sure? what has lebron done to show greatness?! come on kp, just give the guy some credit where its due ... he came to cleveland surrounded by garbage players and transformed a ball club that had been off the map since the mark price / brad daughtery era into a team that had the best record in the league back to back seasons. he single handedly carried that team to new heights until it got to the point where all his efforts combined still couldnt get a title. sure wade had a brilliant showing in 06, but he had a healthy shaq, haslem, wright, mourning, williams, payton, etc surrounding him when lebron had who ... umm mo williams & and an energetic varejao running a muck? lebron deserves a lot more credit than everyone gives him. i personally cant stand him, but i never doubt his abilities.

Lol i CAN stand him and love him, and even i dont give him THIS much credit though. GARBAGE players around him? come on, thats an overstatement. Sure he made them better, but he had some pretty decent role players all around him, that was a VERY well built complimentary team, any team that can win 60 plus games needs to have most of the puzzle pieces together. The problem was there was NO reliable 2 to back up lebron. Mo Williams tried and failed. But you were spot on when you said the team would never achieve the ultimate goal... and thus the Miami Heat were born.

I'm not saying lebron deserves NO credit, but to say he was COMPLETELY alone is just to dramatize and exaggerate the situation (though i imagine thats how people will look back at it one day. "Lebron had who on his team in cleveland?".

Oh and Joel Anthony for MVP . Best developed role player on the heat this season.
