He averaged 45 some points n.15 rebounds in da.finals....and when.shaq left kobe didn't do shit....I dont think they ecen.made playoffs one.of the years...not sure? So please, all you lakers fans up on your high horse, if lebron got the steal trade of the decade with a "pau" type, chances are he woulda stayed in Cleveland too. But thankfully he didnt.\

nah dude wade pulling rondo down was definitely intentional, watch the replay, the way he fell he didn't need to hold onto something, he intentionally tangled up rondo so rondo wouldn't be able to go after the loose ball. that injury could have been a lot more serious. it's fucked up cuz the play right after that wade intentionally knocked ray allen down while he was goin for a rebound.

i dont think so, the whistle was already blown and the play was done. i'm not saying he didnt tag him a bit, but im saying he wasnt trying to drag him to the ground like it happened, i dont think wade was trying to fall himself. when he finally stumbled he already had his arm on rondo... murphy's law situation, just how he landed on his arm etc.

Kobe was still under contract with LA before Pau got there. Kobe just signed that 90 million dollar extension last year during the regular season, so you can't really base it as Kobe waited for pau, cuz kobe was still under contract, he simply signed that extension since pau was there up until the 2013-14 season. Kobe has 90 million reasons to stay, and that in 3 years, who wouldnt jump on that?.

Melo knew that denver couldnt put together a championship team, 08-09 team was close, but not close enough. Kobe is the face of the Lakers (I've said this to a few people before, 'kobe is a diva' when it comes to the business side of the game), and what kobe wants he gets, he knew he wasn't going to leave, he knows the Buss' are there to cater for him on a golden platter. When it comes to the Lakers franchise, kobe held all the cards the last few years, pretty much even before the lakers let shaq go. He was in his LAST YEAR of contract, what are you talking about? it was PUBLICLY discussed how he and paul pierce were talking about leaving their respective teams etc because they werent getting anywhere. the Pau acquisition was the REASON kobe stuck around, he got th emost promising player of memphis' team to join him. its EXACTLY comparable and yes you CAN base it, because smart money says unless LA did what he wanted/made a real effort, he would walk. The thing is, LA, being one of the highest market teams, was GOING to make a change worth him staying. It doesnt change the fact that he was just as stubborn about making the moves to win as lebron was.

I've said it before, i'll say it again, Lebron is a great ATHLETE (He would make an awesome SS or OLB in football, he's a highly skilled athlete, but thats it), he's only a good ball player, his athleticism has been very beneficial for him in the game thus far but that wont cut it. He doesn't have desire, heart, or will/attitude to be considered "superman". Who does though?

Calling Steve Nash great invalidates a lot of what you have said. The guy can't guard anyone. He is an offensive player...his defense is atrocious and it showed when his pitiful defensive teams were bounced from the playoffs year after year. A great player plays both ways, Nash is a one way player who could never get it done when it mattered.

what has lebron done to show greatness?! come on kp, just give the guy some credit where its due ... he came to cleveland surrounded by garbage players and transformed a ball club that had been off the map since the mark price / brad daughtery era into a team that had the best record in the league back to back seasons. he single handedly carried that team to new heights until it got to the point where all his efforts combined still couldnt get a title. sure wade had a brilliant showing in 06, but he had a healthy shaq, haslem, wright, mourning, williams, payton, etc surrounding him when lebron had who ... umm mo williams & and an energetic varejao running a muck? lebron deserves a lot more credit than everyone gives him. i personally cant stand him, but i never doubt his abilities.

How much more credit does he deserve? He is a 2 time MVP and is arguably the face of the NBA with Kobe, Dwight Howard and a few others. No one doubts his talent, its his ability to finish games and be a real winner that is questioned. And those are legitimate questions up to this point in his career. He is a terrible closer and has given up on his team when the season was on the line.

Calling him atrocious defensively is alot to say when youre entire system is designed to be fast paced and high possession. Steve Nash is a perennial allstar and rightfully so, he's top 3 in guards of all time.

You know for all the people who talk about lebron, and how NOONE can carry a team on his back, noone realizes one thing. Show me a team that has even made it to the finals entirely on the back of ONE player. Oh I have one... the Cleveland Cavs. Quit on his team? He was disgruntled, like an employee at a job where they feel like they are wasting their potential, i'm not surprised he lost his fire. And i know, its sports and everyone loves to point fingers... Be a real winner? lol the games changed. When youre facing tony parker, manu ginobli, and tim duncan BY YOURSELF, and thigns dont work out, i'm sorry but how can you expect to take the same beating over and over? I think his willingness to MOVE AWAY FROM HIS HOME, from a franchise BUILT AROUND HIM, from adoring fans in what essentially was HIS CITY... because you want the ultimate prize... is that in itself not a show of heart? of want? of stopping at nothing and letting no criticism deter you from the best opportunity possible?

Sure as a closer he isnt the strongest, we saw it in cleveland, see it in miami... BUT THATS WHY HE JOINED UP WITH ONE OF THE BEST CLOSERS IN THE GAME, not to mention another perennial allstar, a finals MVP, and hands down the best SG in the east, if not the league. But the man still deserves credit for being THE MOST VERSATILE PLAYER THAT ANYONE HAS SEEN PLAY THE GAME!

Put Nash in whatever system you want, he will be abused by any good point guard. D'Antoni's system is weak, and that definitely was a main problem. But I will never call a player "great" if he has demonstrated himself to be a below average defender and if he was not able to show any sort of defensive ability in the playoffs when his team needs it. A great player is Duncan...Nash is not on that level in my opinion.

To make excuses for Lebron QUITTING against the Celtics last season is crazy. He quit on his team and showed he is not a real leader. He has a great skillset, but great players lead, great players finish, great players win. Lebron gets all the credit he deserves.

nah dude wade pulling rondo down was definitely intentional, watch the replay, the way he fell he didn't need to hold onto something, he intentionally tangled up rondo so rondo wouldn't be able to go after the loose ball. that injury could have been a lot more serious. it's fucked up cuz the play right after that wade intentionally knocked ray allen down while he was goin for a rebound.

i dont think so, the whistle was already blown and the play was done. i'm not saying he didnt tag him a bit, but im saying he wasnt trying to drag him to the ground like it happened, i dont think wade was trying to fall himself. when he finally stumbled he already had his arm on rondo... murphy's law situation, just how he landed on his arm etc.
