Mad funding for this comp....daaayaaam how do y'all just have 750 to give each team and then prize money on top of that?!

wow. I was supposed to retire, but now with BAB, and BdM, and maybe even boston, looks like its gonna be an overractive bhangra year.

We have a friend in Lima who is pulling together all the sponsorship and resources. She's really awesome and as you can see, she's on top of her game and really wants people to come and enjoy themselves.

We have a lot more info coming soon, we're working hard to get all the material finalized as fast as we can so people can start getting registrations in order and planning for the comp since it's early in the season

Big shoutouts to Swi, SiddyP, HSDeol and whoever else is involved helping out with this competition. As a central location, you shouldn't have any problems getting teams. $750 for each competing team is something unheard of but keep up the good work.

I never knew that the city of Lima, OH had much desi population.

On the side note, I suggest that you should change the name to BHANGRE DI MEHFIL instead of Bhangra Di Mehfil.

Good luck guys, I hope you guys are able to get a decent sized crowd, especially since it's kind of a smaller town that doesn't seem to be close to any colleges or universities. The reason why Bhangra Allstars sucked so hard is because barely 100 people showed up for it, so it really kinda felt like the teams weren't really there for any good reason. I don't know what the Indian demographic is in Lima or the surrounding areas, but I hope you're able to attract a sizable crowd for an event that is sure to be well run.

Agree with earlier said, you definitely should push to get a good audience. It definitely not as satisfying performing for a small crowd, especially if you travel for countless hours etc
