Of course you would know, since YOU ARE IN THE VIDEO ! LOL sick video ! got a good laugh out of itK Lally said:importance of bhangra while doing laundry? ???Sanj said:i feel dumb but i didnt really get the point of this video.. hahah is it about taking care of the environment or something? when washing cloths
The videos suppose to "educate B.C.'s Punjabi farm workers about how to safely launder clothing worn during pesticide application"; not exactly sure how bhangra plays a role in it tho!
They are what we call, good old Canadian blue berry bushesENVY BANG-RUH said:And just a quick question, ive never seen those trees around here, are those some sort of berry trees?

thanks for the clarificationRJOHAL said:This ad is a public service announcement to bring awareness within the farming community, pretty much what others have gathered. There are many side effects from pesticides that contaminate clothing worn during farm work, which are especially harmful to pregnant women. If you would like more info you can go on http://www.washwithcare.ca/. Me and Sonali are actually working as assistants on this project and trying to get the word out to the community, so we are visiting gurdwaras and attending local events to educate people about problems associated with farm work. If you know of events happening that people who work on farms attend or you own a farm or know someone that does, please pm me and you can help us with this initiative.
As for the bhangra, it is really about getting people curious and catching their attention, which as we all know bhangra is amazing for. The point is really not to scare people but give out this message, lightly with some fun involved. Anyways, hope you enjoyed the ad![]()

Anytime, and thanks...the aunty is Baljinder Johal and the girl is actually her daughter-in-law. She's in quite a few movies and worked as a host before. She's a very nice lady.Sanj said:thanks for the clarificationRJOHAL said:This ad is a public service announcement to bring awareness within the farming community, pretty much what others have gathered.
