NYPD performing at Elite 8 2012

mixes are always amazing. song selection is everything i love, or probably anyone who dances live. keep it up

appreciate the comments on the mix guys, it was made quick but a lot of thought went into the song selection, from the team, aaron and me.. we may have changed our swag a bit compared to previous sets in terms of dancing to keep up with the bhangra trends but our music will always be traditional and lyrically connected to the bhangra culture as much as possible, and that will never change. Can't think of an all male team that wouldn't want to dance to lyrics like "akhan chariyan muchan kariyan" and classic bangers like chamkaur khattras velli

it was brutal making this mix last minute but if the audience enjoyed it, it was worth it.


to the team, on a serious note: goodjob NYPD boys, I'm proud of you guys.. I was there when you guys started out and Ima jam with you nigas til the end, it was a great experience seeing you guys transform from young ambitious highschoolers to the men you are today and its something I cherish. Although this is my last mix for a while, you guys deserve great things and I'll always be NYPD. Now pass the jundi 8)

Absolutely one of the most entertaining sets I have ever seen, while continuing to do bhangra throughout the entire routine! What really impressed me is how you guys were able to surprise the crowd and keep people on the edge of their seats without anyone else but your dancers! take the pyramid next level. Back it up a few feet, have the guy jump through and start doing choreo. Then breakdown level by level every 2 beats and have the levels join him in the choreo. That'd be sickkkkk
