I heard the same thing and im really starting to lose respect for both of these teams. Like holy shit, you guys gave it your all, the rest is up to the judges. Stop throwing tantrums when things don't go your way. Show some appreciation for a competition who throws the show and even GIVES YOU MONEY for placing. But do you guys have such big egoes that you can't even accept a damn check because you tied against your rival team? You guys are teaching the younger generation this artform....are you guys also teaching them to be poor sports when they don't win? WOW. Not only are you guys setting a bad example, but I've seen a few other teams do it as well. CUT IT OUT!VaRun59 said:

Just got back from the competition. PROBABLY THE BEST COMPETITION TO DATE IN NORTH AMERICA !!!!...Nachde Shokeen were simply amazing, everything was on cue, not one slip up, ROOH PUNJAB DEE was amazing as well, ROOH's set was better than Shokeens in my opinion...SIAC were good as well but not to the level or shokeen and rooh...
IN all honesty Nachdi Jawani didnt have the same flare and swagger like they usually do...it was a really good set and what not but i still think two teams deserved to place over them. Jawani Warriors(one of NJ's sibling groups) were the surprise team of the night for sure. These guys were simply amazing and really got the crowd hoolering and hollering..lol..the set was so clean and performed to perfection...every guy was smiling and mad respect to one of the guys in the green jodi, his naakhre were out of this worlddd, amazing dancer...and lastly SGPD...they were unreal, Tarun and Manpreet owned everyone with their facial expressions, but one thing i noticed is all their dancers didnt have the same energy levels, some were soft still with all due respect..lol...

Tension was high at the end though, all the teams danced their hearts out, Judges should have some sort of procedure in case of a tie..My section was booing because whats the whole point of a competition if your going to have a tie..lol...but all in all respect to CPDA for holding down one of the best competitions to dateee...

Well Meistro sometimes its not all about the money, and moneys the last thing you think about.
You wanna go to a competetion, knowing the best team will be on top and recogized for it.

i hate to say it..but i think some tension (NO FIGHTING) is good for a competition too..it builds up for the future bhangra competitoins and keeps teams going at it harder and u kno that sgpd and nj are gona go at it at another competition veryyy veryyy soon!!
obviously if violence breaks out...thats too much and unacceptable...its childish and there's no room for that in our bhangra culture...

I know its not all about the money. What I meant by that is that its pretty much an insult to the Shan-E Punjab organization for the teams not to accept the reward. Hey, the judges had a hard time choosing ONE winner. THEY felt both teams tied. What can you do? They're only human. The teams should leave that stage knowing they gave it 100%. Who says the teams wouldn't be recognized for their efforts? Who says a first place is the ONLY way distinguish the top team? We all know judging is almost NEVER accurate. Im sure if there wasn't any tension right now people would be like you know what, hell with the placings, both teams ripped it. Its about having SPORTSMANSHIP and PROFESSIONALISM. I was at Bhangra Masti 3, and i have to say it was the sickest COMP EVER! Modern category was off the hook, Nachdi Jawani killed that shit SGPD did sick too. Jawani Warriors Definitely shocked me aswell they were crazy. Also another team that was sick was NYPD, it was their first Comp ever and they did so good. Darapuria ripped it for them Only turn off for me was SGPD'S chadray, wasnt really feeling them at all.
