I must say, Virsa Punjab Da 2009, it was a very well organized competition.

I definitely would like to give a big Congratulations to all of the organizers!
You guys did an excellent job.

I do not agree with the results. At all.
I think I could have done a better job at judging.

But overall,
A great show!

i was there; jj definitely had the most traditional routine and the best dancers. most teams werent able to execute bhangra steps traditionally and accurately the way some of their dancers were able to. i had them as first easily after seeing all the performances

I'm going to reserve judgement until I see the other videos but I do know JJ lost points from all the judges because they went over the time limit. That could've cost them placing higher :p

yea i thought JJ was probably the most graceful and most traditional, but i think they did get points taken off for the routine going over the time limit so i guess that is why they didn't place higher i did like their performance though

Thanks VPD Committe for putting on a great show! I know my team had a blast!
One thing that I really liked about this competitition is that all the team captains got to meet one-on-one with all the judges and get input on our routine and what to work on, thats the first time i've seen that at a competition :)

Quick shoutout to Mac, Abdullah, Sapna, Ambarish, and Gaurav, thanks for everything!

Just for clarification, Joshiley Jawan respects the judging decisions made by the committee and its judges and understands that our set went over the time limit, jeopardizing our chances of a higher placing. The judges made the right call!
