pagh starching help

there are some paghs that are sparkly, are they like that from the beginning are from the starch .

thats just how they are made. it's a sparkly thread(dhaagha) that they use for some paggs! but some teams just add Glitter to the regular paggs! 8)

i am kinda disappointed no one has posted this vid yet..... But sta flo is quicker and consistent. I once too believed 100% in maava. But sta flo is too good. and it is true. because jasmeet from btf taught us how!

awwww thanks! its odd that people have issues with sta-flo, when i've never really had any. I now go with the base coat of sta-flo and finish it off with got2b freezing spray/spray starch (if on hand) to just get the last bit of firmness. after that, the pagg is ready to go. other people put even more effort into the starching method, but its really not that hard. i've done the maava method as well, and i found it inconsistent, and wasn't overly happy with it. with time, you find things that work....test what you can, but i'm going to stick with sta-flo.

hahah naa don't do that!!! just starch the 9 to 11 inch turla part! or even the PHULL on the other end ( u dont really have to but some ppl do starch 2 to 3 inch on the other end of the pagg as well)

i wouldn't glitter the whole thing. the glitter will get literally everywhere. We glittered our turlas one year and it looked nice on stage

um well i guess put glitter in the starch and starch the pagh lightly with starch that's not too strong

Btw where do u buy glitter, I went to walmart and there's only glitter glue in small bottles, I didnt want to ask a worker either.

starch the paghs first and figure out how to get that down tight. once you do it look into options for making them look glittered. you could spray them with a spray glitter, you could mix glitter in with your next batch of starch, or you could get glitter glue and gently rub it on the turla side of your pagh. but the most important thing is to make sure you are able to properly starch your turlay.
