Govind, here is the video. Fast forward to 2:25 to the end of the saap segment.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2rISziAI9g

I would love to get thoughts on this. I don't think that just because one team (PAU) gives respect to props doesn't mean every other team should as well. Here, we have an example of a India team at a major competition who felt it was okay to throw props off stage.

PS - This could possibly be the beginning of a new discussion out of the PCBCA context. Perhaps Mods can make this a new thread?
I created the new thread pal, so post away : )

Sikkkk routine .. we were all over it and defs thought it would be a tough call between you guys and apd .. when you guys didn't place, we were chokedd!! but good job, and the kids were just amazing, it broke my heart to see them not place .. totally deserved first or second. the crowd went nuts whistling and cheering and you guys got a standing ovation from majority of the theatre, well done!!

SIAC @ PCS Chicago 2008
SIAC here dropped their khunde @ 2:49 straight on the ground...Tejinder uncle ji is the coach of SIAC...He has so much knowledge about Bhangra, its unbelievable...my point is that if he ok with dropping them on the ground...teams from NA may follow him and do the same...I don't think there is a wrong or right way...personally I am against dropping/throwing them on the ground and if you are gonna then you should matha tek atleast...like you would matha tek the dhol before dancing.

Amazing, who cares if it's safe, it was sync, a lot of people might say it was simple, there was no creativity, but if you think about it, a lot of teams that are legends now, have done simple routines, just with soo much energy and nakhra, whats wrong with it, if you make everyone go WOW... even the umbrellas were sync, the kids were sync, the kids had energy, there was absolutly nothing about this routine that you can give a valid argument as to why they didn't place. Sync near perfect, including kids, music amazing, effects amazing, had it's gimmicks that made sense, no random stunts or gimmicks, vardiyaan looked good, honestly, WHY NO PLACE ???
