At instances when artists are lip syncin to music at competitions...um yea we CAN tell for ex- Alaap @BBC
I know Alaap didn't lip sync this year, Vik you might be confusing it with Safri from last year......

My biggest problem is when dancers through props, i don't see it as a good thing, I mean I can understand if a sapp breaks or fully extends so that you can't pull it back and it may be urgent to put it down to save the rest of your dance, but still with the sapps and all props, it's just messed up......

i don't like it when the guys' chadra's are not properly pinned .. sometimes there's way too much exposure because it's not properly pinned & bare leg's are just flying all over the place

Break dancing, "crip" walking and not smiling. I know the first two dont happen often but when they do oh man sends me into a seizure. The biggest thing for me is not smiling, when I see robot faces on teams or people who look like their about to cry come on ENJOY YOURSELF!

Not just when the guys don't properly pin their chadarey, but when they tie high-water chadarey that don't go down past the middle of their shins. Can't stand that ish.

And faux-gidha - can't stand that either. If you don't know how to do it properly, learn or don't put it in the routine. Don't put girly moves to played out gidha tracks so you feel like you're giving the girls on your co-ed team equal time on the stage.

when guys have UGLY phull's hanging off their pughan.....I hate it when they're in the shape of a donut or when its not starched and its just hanging down.........HERE is an example of a BEAUTIFUL phull.............also I hate it when people don't wear their vardiyaan properly. Like, you're performing an artform, you're not coming from a long days work from the keth! Get your kaintey and taveet nice and snugg around your neck! fix your phull! pin your chadra! make sure its tied properly! make sure your phuman arent gonna fall off!.......how would you feel if saw actors in movies with unrealistic costumes or uniforms?

i wasnt able to view the pictures you posted, but what I meant was when it you tie a bhangra style pugh but it looks like you skipped a laar and you have like a good 8-10 inches just hanging down. A laar hanging down only looks good if you're tying a bhagat singh style pugh, not bhangra. Also, when you make a donut-looking phull, that just means you're rolling it up, in which case you can just cut a portion of it off so that you can have a natural phull rather than rolling it.

another pet peeve of mine is when I see teams use props, I've especially seen this with saaps, for like 16 counts and they put them down. There is honestly no point of wasting time in your routine, picking your prop up and putting it down if you're only going to dance with it for 16 counts. Theres no point in even hauling 6-10 saaps to the venue just for that haha.
