dude that lilly singh/superwoman vid was funny best part had to be you quotin "pari" but cmon man that songs too upbeat to be considered a serious sad song, "babbu mann - mittran di chattri" has it beat anyways

I agree with all the gurdas maan ones already picked out, heres another one which i like:

(actually does anyone know what the story behind this song is??... is he referring to the story of heer ranjha and singing as ranjha to heer after she has been killed by her uncle?) would be nice to know if anyone out there has any idea??

he's remembering a past relationship and feeling the pain from wut he lost, he fucked up and lost his girl, he's apologizing for his mistakes and he's tryin to move on. song doesnt have anythin to do with heer ranjha

love "baki sab kush theek" and "yaad- jas singh" "dil ta tutde rhenday ne" is practically a classic at this point, incredible song
lol mundanyde seems like u like the satwinder bugga sad songs "bedardene" and "rabb sadde je" are amazing "tu soh ke raat guzar lai" is classic i wish babbu mann still made songs in that kinda style, i thought hashar was a decent recent sad song by him but his older stuff def hits a lil differently.

"pyar - dev dhillon/kam bhamra" is an amazing song

here's some other ones

this dudes voice is absolutely ridiculous, lyrics are emotional and hard hitting love the second verse "hon saday naal hai tu akh na milaundi ni, oh vi sigay din saday bina na jiondi si" another nasty line "paunay cheray waliye ni asi na peshania, dilo beiman si tu asi eh na jania"

also uploading "gill hardeep - zindagi" the version i found was 128kbps but sounds clean i had to convert it because it wouldnt play on windows media player so dont be fooled by the fact that its rated at a higher bitrate.

Thanks mate, just thought it might have something to do with heer ranjha because at the begining of the video he picks the book and it says "heer." Still a nice song, and interesting thread!!
