ok so everyone says 'phumania' and there was a post way back bout phumania and there was mention of Duniya Boys at boston 2006 and their 'new phumania'

i think thats actually the ONLY phumania no?

the 16 step is actually called 'Tin Tara'

..or am i wrong?

its called phumaniyaan. hence the boli "phumaniyaan paunde jadho musch put gabroo, thail pattaan nu lahkey"

theres actually 3 types of phumaniyaan.
- the type we did at boston in 2006
- the light bulb one
- the 16-step (I guess you can call it tin tara to distinguish it from the other two, since the dhol beat for this type does go tin tara)

Well Meistro, I think the lightbulb one and the ones you guys did at Boston are pretty much the same idea but just slightly different like how the way different teams might do the 16-step phumania varies as well.

the lightbulb one actually is in no way similar to the one we did in boston. Are you talking about 2007? Im talking about 2006.

you can call it phuminiya or sharara cus both boli's can work with it
Sharara boli as in the one BC Cultural used at AVAP? It's at 1:28.

That's the first time I've heard this particular boli, but I'm used to hearing the Phumanian one a lot more from live teams.

Sheesh, so much to learn. I think it would be really beneficial to centralize this information so that more people can learn. That's what I tried doing with this thread (http://bhangrateamsforum.com/discuss/index.php?topic=88.msg519#msg519) but it died out.
