Im not sure what you mean by "black money" if earned it by doing a legit show or concert then I don't see what the problem is. Personally I don't think the government should have any say on how much of your money you can travel with. Unless your some sort of drug kingpin.

the government has all right to do so.(not saying i side with the government) if they dont have a 10grand limit on cash you could literally (if you had the assetts to do so) take every dollar from a single country over into another and make the first country poor.

ya dude...BDR - economics is a biotch but you should check it out for some lessons! there are a billion reasons as to why this is wrong, and many people have gone to jail over such schemes.

ya dude...BDR - economics is a biotch but you should check it out for some lessons! there are a billion reasons as to why this is wrong, and many people have gone to jail over such schemes.

I really don't think any person has enough assets to topple a government like Pakistan or India. If anyone did then they probably would have done it. Economics really has nothing to do with it. Its more of a moral and principle matter. If you get 15,000 cash for 3 or 4 shows or something. You have earned that in an honest way. Next you would like to transport that money to your country of residence, then whats the problem?? If he performed in a country that doesn't have a bank of Pakistan or India then how is he supposed to transfer the money??? Western Union??? I don't think he's gonna pay the fee for that. Swiss Bank account?? I don't think he has enough assets. So it really comes down this. No matter what amount of you have the government can hassle you anyways. This is what I think they really did. Yes I do believe he needs to show proof of how he obtained the money. That's just simple business that most entrepreneurs and others who engage in International business are well aware of. So let's see if he can show how he obtained these assets. If everything checks out then I think he should be free to go and the next he needs to find a way to transfer his money without bringing such large amounts with him.
