Shaq is useless, old and washed up, so is Ben wallace. Both were once pretty dominant players.
Shaq had one of his best seasons this last year....I don't think he's washed up at all...Lebron and Shaq will make a good duo but I'm going to have to say kobe and shaq made the best pair. Lebron is really strong at freethrows and on point with all his shit, but I think he needs someone whos faster/more maneuverable then Shaq...then again anything is better then Wallace!!
wow hahahahaha, dippy stick to organizing competitions. it suits you well haha.

Playing w/ Shaq slows down your offense, even though he's in much better shape now than before. When he's on the floor im guessing they'll just have him post up, try to draw the double, kick it out and have the athletic guys try to do something. That means LBJ is probably going to be playing weakside, cuz theres too much traffic on the strongside for him to receive the ball and drive. Sher if you watch some of the cleveland/orlando playoff footage, you'll see turk and lewis totally demolishing wally/delonte/pavlovic/etc by backing em down. True, they cant back em in all the way now cuz of shaq, but even when the cavs had Z out on the floor, orlando was still able to manhandle their guards. One of the reasons we won the title was b/c of our length on lewis and turk. Dwight is gonna be dwight no matter what, but having your guards outmatched like that is heinous. I'm reading that the Cavs are still looking to pick up an athletic 3-man, that means LBJ gets bumped down to a 2-guard, and that means they can match up with Orlando properly

DAMN orlando added vince? Dont know why they gave up Courtney or Pietrus, those guys had good D

Orlando just got better!

They added Vince Carter for Courtney Lee, Rafer Alston, and Michael Pietrus
hmmmm, thats a huge risk for orlando. Lets just hope Carter stays healthy. Alston and Pietrus had pretty important roles for the magic.

the magic trade was dumb in my opinion......courtney lee has so much potential, like we saw throughout the playoffs, he didnt even play like a rookie. Pietrus and Alston also were good additions to their team. Vince Carter is on his decline, and he had a horrible season last year. As for shaq, he had a good season last year, but his duo with James will not be enough to mess with a full strength boston iin the east, let alone the MVP Kobe and co if they get to the finals. Next year is LA's year again if they are full strength with no injuries. KOBE baby, cant be stopped:)

Harmeet,

How can you say VC had a horrible year last year? 21.3ppg, 5 ast, 5 reb. Thats damn good for a guy 32 years old. The team he has was full of youngsters and they did make a little run at the playoffs and finished a lot better than some other teams with a lot more talent.

To average over 20 points in the league ur an elite player....

Vc may have had a baller year with the nets but will he come close to that level of production when he's the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team?

I doubt it but he can at least replace Turk's production at the 3.

honestly, having Nelson at the Point, Carter 2, Lewis at 3, Turk at 4 and Howard at 5, is a killer starting lineup. Its good because carter is a player that has the ability to take over a game. Howard's ass isn't reliable for sh*t on the offensive end. All you have is lewis, carter, and turk putting up the numbers now. Im really looking forward to seeing these guys next year.

I don't think they can resign Turk anymore because of the salary cap situation, they dont seem to want to pay for the luxury tax. I heard Turk is gonna get a huge offer from Toronto.
