OK so sorry for the late post but..Wow I had no idea that a ???drunk ??? uncle came on stage for someone's performance. That sounds funny but really sucks for a team!!
Basically a lot of other people summed up part of the Socal experience.. it was my first time at this competition and I had heard a lot of good things about it beforehand. I think the only kinda not so great part was the transportation.. if they had fixed the transportation then everything would have been chill. Two buses would have been solid..however, I found the volunteers to be extremely nice and helpful so thanks to them for helping us out. Other than that though.. I think most competitions do tend to get a little hectic.. and teams just gotta accept that pretty much.
Other than that though, it was a good competition, I had tons of fun...the venue was pretty solid, the afterparty I heard was wicked, the show was packed, and the teams were dope from what I know of them (didn't get to watch most) so all in all.. a pretty solid comp...they can def learn from the feedback from this year n I can't wait for Socal 2010
I didn't get to watch any of the other teams other than DRP (u guys rock

). I had heard from other teams that the crowd was dead but I thought the crowd was wickeddd!! Loved the crowd! Maybe they just took a while to warm up or something.. or they got drunk during the intermissions lol.
Didn't go to the afterparty but apparently it was super fun so I totally regret not going.
As for the 6am fire alarm.. I was pigging out on McDonalds and totally missed that adventure (fatty that I am).
Does anyone have an actual review of the teams?
Congratulations to APD and Jawani for placing and congrats to everyone else for being awesome teams in general :-* Can't wait to see everyone's videos
