So I thought about Jasmine's blog, and how cool of an idea it was, and I decided to start my own (completely NOT to take her thunder).

This is a blog about a white boy making the transition from bhangra dancer to bhangra team captain. You'll see the good, the bad, the frustrating, and the VERY ugly. You'll also get to meet my two co-captains, Joey Zuniga and Mowsuf Uddin-both of whom are also Non-Punjabi dancers/captains, and the rest of my team.

We're a new team, so you'll get to see everything from our humble beginning stages.

I'll try not to use too much profanity, but I can't guarantee anything.

Joey! <3 Wow, I love reading these bhangra blogs, thanks for helping me kill some free time! haha.

As I mentioned in Jasmine's thread, do keep us updated on BTF whenenver you write some new entries, so people can "catch up" on things. It's so hard to stay up to date with the numerous websites that people frequent, so that would make it a lot easier.

Basim, I think I'm too random of a person to keep my blog as solely bhangra-related... and If I were to update EVERY TIME I post something (esp if the topic is not even remotely close to bhangra), then I'm just being a pain in the tukus. I'll come up with some way to inform the masses (and it might be easier once I have my facebook back post-lent).

New post should be up by the end of the day! Also I uploaded some of my favorite pictures I found in my Droid :-D

GOD knows there's no filter in between my brain and my mouth, and I type exactly how I speak... so whoever's reading this is probably getting a kick outta whatever I happen to throw out there. I figure if one person says "This guy Joe's a trainwreck. My life's normal," then I'm doing my job.
