Up and Coming Team from 07/08

heerey's routine has probably got to be one of the best routines of 2008, right after sgpd burgh. it was amazing. you could tell every single move was thought of carefully and the excution was sick. i expect great things from them in the upcoming year.

i kinda feel like bmw is the new sher, panj is the new lbc, and abc is kinda the new soormay (akward hands and everything).

Im not saying that they already are at that level however if these kids work hard enough and have the motivation, i see them taking over for the teams that came before them.

i feel like vcu still has to reach its climax, i can see them getting better. UNC and Drexal also are some great teams to look out for. Even columbia, if they would travel more could give Empire some good competition.

Heeray Punjab Deh showed that they are the next great traditional team with their performances at Giant & DDA.

P.A.N.J. showed potential and had nice outfits but need to execute better.

Virsa: Our Tradition had a nice routine at Royale.

Punjabi Beat got 2nd at Bhangra Nation East and I heard their Giant routine wasn't bad.

Rangla Punjab, UNC Bhangra, and Drexel Bhangra. I feel like all three of these teams have made good progress so far and are just missing that X-factor on their team, that one thing that defines them as a team

I agree with that, especially Drexel I feel is just on the verge of making a break through. Waris Punjab De & Heeray Punjab De are two teams to look out for next year. After their performance at Bruin, I have a feeling that Sher Foundation could possibly make a solid come back if they remain consistent.

M.A.D. bhangra...hands down the best bhangra I have seen this year. i really hope those guys compete with some fresh stuff next season.

Thanks Mr.V, props to Aman for that venture, he is leaving for India and will be missed. MAD is currently taking a hiatus but watch out for Lalkaare Sheran De (LSD) which is being coached by MAD and has some MAD dancers but mostly new local talent. I am def posting this in the wrong thread as I def would not categorize us as an up and coming team (self pumpification), rather we are new and have a long way to go.

B2B for sure if they do lots of comps, Heeray Punjab De, Punjabi Beat, ABC can be good..young team with potential, BMW too, PANJ, and teams like vcu/sgpd will just kill it through the whole season.

I think the upcoming teams that i feel are gonna bring their A game this coming season are Heeray, PANJ, Folk Attraction, Punjabi Beat and ABC. They definately are gonna be awesome next year. Good luck kiddos

in my opinion: collegiate wise i think vcu is def a lock as one of the best if not the best..idk if unc's captain is doing the team ne more..if not then idk how far they can go w/out him b/c he ran everything there..ncsu i use to hate..but all i saw in them at qc is energy..but then i found out that wherever they travel..they have like 100 fans come w/ them so that contributes to it..otherwise theyre really nothing sry..another collegiate team is probably columbia or maybe even gw and gmu!! maybe theres a few more i missed

as far as other teams: sgpd shud continue to be the best team..nj i havent seen much...waris punjab dee shud do well...empire is more of a fun team to watch but they shud continue to do really well..and HEERAY is awesome..i wana see them alot more this year..also...duniya maybe?
