Today was a sick day... We hit up NJ and Shaan-Ez academy

we went to three NJ locations and they were teaching classes and it was fun watching the little kids dancing, you can see who's going to be on the NJ Team and who has to work at it...Met Iqbal Paji and talked to him for about 45 min, turns out he and my cousin went to the same college in Punjab....really nice guy, always laughing and jolly

Narinder paji who I believe was one of the first to start Shaan-E was nothing less than welcoming...watched the Shaan-E junior's set for GS and it was amazing good luck to them at GS..Narinder Paji has a very welcoming personality and very open minded and caring. felt like i was talking to my bother the whole time.

Visiting the Academies were spectacular...anyone one who goes to Toronto should def visit NJ & Shaan-E dance studio, sit down with the founders and main heads and talk to them and lean about how they got into bhangra how they started the academy and run the competition. You really feel at home, both academies don't treat you as if your from a different country or different team...this my friends is called dancing for the love of bhangra and spreading he culture. I have the utmost respect for both academy.

on an another note Pizza Depot was goooddddddddd....and cheap...i can eat that everyday

**i will upload some pics later

we went to three locations
Brampton - Melonie drive
Mississauga
and can't think of the third on

one was in a plaza next to Pizza Depot
second one was in a room with cement walls and no mirror, two fans
third one was where all the trophies are held...and there was a pic of Soni Pabla before you enter the studio, and there was a female recipient

Ki Hal ah Ranjit Paji,
This is all from my experience, Def if you get a chance, check out the Academies for NJ and Shaan-E...they are friendly and welcoming so you can basically go there and watch them as they teach their classes. Its really interesting seeing about 30 little kids from all different ages groups doing bhangra, because there are soo many that it looks like an army.. Also gotta eat at Pizza Depot, pizza is really good. Def go to the heart of Toronto they have a shit load of malls to check out....Eaton Center is a massive mall...also Salad King in Downtown is probably one of the best places I have eaten from. It had Thai food and usually i am not a Thai food guy but their food is phenomenal and they give you a lot in one serving....put it this way...there were 6 of us and we each got a different dish and all 6 of them were equally good. We kept switching food around because they all tasted good. Also if you get a chance, check out The Pacific Mall in Markham.. it's basically a mall for Chinese people but they have about 40 stores in there of pirated movies...they have a lot of movies and they are all in terrific DVD quality...you can get a DVD for 3$ or get 20 for 40$.....they also have a little DVD player set up so you can test them and see if they work...You can't go wrong...they also have all the new movies out on DVDs...and the Quality is pretty good, better than the ones on the internet (they also have seasons for almost every tv show on right now)....also not sure how religious you are or but there are some massive Gurudwara and Mandirs here, not saying I went around looking for them but there are hard to miss when you are driving around on the 401...also there is Gerrard Street in Downtown that is like a little India....and check out a store on Gerrard street called "Punjab's food and spices" and try their Kashmiri Chai...that shit is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good....

Other things to check out groundshaker on the 30th and Festival day on the 31st, which is like a Mela that NJ is hosting and they are trying to gather about 1,000 bhangra dancers to break a world record...i am sure Jasdeep Paji can elaborate on it more....

also clubs...Berlin is the one of clubs names i remember...there is numerous other to...can't remember the names we visited couple of them and i was buzzed. I will let you know by tomorrow if you are interested in clubs.

and besides that bro just drive around or chill in downtown there is always something going or some festival happening..

hor veer mere, if i can help you in anything else let me know
