What's your Bhangra story?

I needed a ride home one day and my friend said she would only if I waited until she finished bhangra practice. So I came and watched until she was finished and I thought it was interesting so I came back a week or so later and watched again (I didn't dare try). The third time I came I gave bhangra a try ( I WAS SO BAD) but eventually I got a lot better and I have been dancing ever since. The best things happen by accident.

okay i loved punjabi music and i always danced at partys like everyone...and i used to love and i mean seriously love black music i mean i still do but not as much as bhangra music..well this is how it happened my aunt was from bhangra empire and i didnt care much but then i found this guy that i have never met and saw he was so cutteee..yeah and he lives in cali and i dont...so im like only way to meet him is by a bhangra compition..and im totally in love with bhangras corrdnation. im hoping one day ill meet him

and alot of people know him hes on BR

I remember that I, a proud south indian mustachioed gentlemen, was at numerous grad parties, sorties, and birthdays with a couple of my friends and noticed that there was a bhangra troupe in the area. A lot of people told me I could do that, and was like how hard could it be....soon those guys became my best friends, and even today, I am still learning. Its taught me to put yourself out there, and be rewarded for it.
