I went back and saw it and yes he does blame the lighting, I misunderstood later on in the conversation (around 5:03) when he asks if anyone has done live bhangra on the show before, it almost sounds like he's saying "light kia hai" instead of "live kia hai" which is why I thought that.

I think what the guy meant was that they were dancing LIGHTLY, not that the lights affected their performance. Also, I agree that the performance wasn't amazing but it wouldn't have killed the judges to be a little nicer seeing that it's a kid team.

What a great idea Nikhil! Not only will it give back to the community but provide a fun weekend for the teams and bhangra lovers. We definitely need more exhibitions in the circuit so teams can get creative with their routines and take "risks" that they normally wouldn't due to the constraints...

definitely a lot of potential here! loved the song selection...the amplifier segment and phumannia segments stand out for sure. the performance just needs to be cleaner and step up the energy otherwise great job ladies :)
