Derek, your hit at 6:47 was siiiick. You and your jodi straight murdered the ending segment.
I don't know if the decision to go 8 guys and 4 girls was intentional/out of necessity, but I thought that the asymmetry made your formations much more interesting to watch.
Regarding set execution...
I enjoyed watching your team perform at the show! Congratulations on winning Best Mela!
During your set, the first moment when I really felt something was your jhummar segment. The different scenes (I loved how those were staged) highlighted each dancer's acting and personality well. Most...
Congratulations to the performing teams! I was watching from the second row, and got super hyped seeing everyone up close. Here are my suggestions for improving the audience's experience:
Ticketing and Entry
A crowd formed since the doors opened quite late. Later on, it became a bit chaotic...
Thanks for the video, lavesh! I have a question about 0:42-0:52. What is your opinion regarding how high the knees should come up before the toes strike the ground? Is higher generally considered more aesthetically pleasing?
Super guilty of this as well. For me, it's definitely a feeling of "am I even qualified to say these things?" Grateful to know that other people feel the same way, so I'll try harder to post my thoughts, too.

DRP had so much fun performing for the Boston crowd! Special thanks to our amazing liaison Shivani and the BBC committee for their support. Thanks to the judges for providing feedback, as well
Congratulations to all the teams on their stellar performances, especially the placing teams...

I think it's also important to note that executing betka safely requires not just strong legs and feet; the upper body is equally crucial. From the waist up, you should be pulling your weight up and out of your legs. You can do this by keeping your core muscles engaged and lifted.
This way...
Where are you located in SoCal? Is commute time going to be a factor for you?
Here's a list of the teams in the SoCal area:

^In addition to that list, there's a new all...
Nice, I was in your position a year ago when I moved out here. There are a few independent and collegiate teams that were active this past year in the SoCal area. Everyone feel free to chime in if I'm missing anything:
All-Male:
-Bhangra Regiment (Los Angeles)
-New All-Male Team (Greater Los...
