A fun world cup final to watch. Congrats to France! It's was a huge deal for Crotia to even get that far and gave a good fight.
Can't wait for next WC (2022) and especially looking forward to the North American WC in 2026!!

The mixing mods had accidentally forgot to move DJ ManDown to position 26 and Juicy Dev to position 28 (due to the Week 2 match...
Thank you to BTF users for taking the time to cast votes and provide feedback! We did not receive as many completed mixes this past week, so we strongly encourage all DJ's participating to commit the time to mix or message a mixing mod to be removed from the ladder - it's not fair to your...
My vote goes to DJ 1 for better fitting with the theme, although I feel a lot more could have been done in your mix. Intro was really nice, but wtf was with the outro. Seems like you ran out of time and just cut the mix where you could get to, lol.
DJ 2 had some solid creativity scattered...
Classic song.
With DJ 1's mix, I loved the bass line and beats that hit deep, but as through the mix was good up until 30 seconds or so.. but I felt the drop should have been better and needs some variety after that. The bass just got redundant and didn't mesh well with the rest of the mix...
My vote goes to DJ 1 for better fitting with the saap segment theme. DJ 2 definitely had the more creative mix & the equalization was better - I loved how vocals sounded a lot more prominent than DJ 1's mix.. but unfortunately DJ 2's mix just isn't "saap segment friendly" - i.e. the outro would...
The Russia vs Crotia match today was intense.. a nail bitter until the very end.
I'm not a huge fan of any of these teams, but from the way each team has played in this WC (thus far), I am going with France.
Should be an exciting finish! Love this game.

During my collegiate years, my parents definitely thought it was a waste of time (they are from a different generation), but realized that being involved on a bhangra team was great exercise, fun for me, a great social environment, and never bothered me as long as I kept my grades up. I loved...

Congrats all. Being a moderator is a thankless job, BUT let me be the first to actually thank you for stepping up to contribute fresh ideas to BTF & for your involvement within our circuit.

DJ 1 - wish there was more separation in your mix. I liked that you changed the tempo of the original song, but I didn't like the bass overtone throughout the entire mix. There was a lot of build up before 0:52 in your mix, but then I wish you had something different with the drop and the mix...
Old school song that brought back memories. Good choice for mixing.
DJ 1's intro was decent, but I was but it took way too long (0:30+ seconds) to finally bring the original song in. I liked the attempt to speed up the original song, but I didn't feel the drop & transition at 0:58. I wish the...
While I appreciate trying to be creative, DJ 2's mixes just didn't flow smoothly.
DJ 1 had the cleaner mix for sure and definitely brought the funk - I liked what you did with the song overall. I felt like you could have made a stronger outro. Not sure why there was like 5 seconds of blank...
I'm glad this song was given to these two DJ's - really provided a lot to work & experiment with.
As others have said, a great match-up here. Well done to both DJs.
My vote: DJ 2
Big fan of this song; a classic.
DJ 2 tried some creative stuff, but it was off key and barely incorporated the song, lol.
My vote: DJ 1 - hot mix sir.
DJ 1 - loved the tempo & change of pace. Very well done overall. I agree with jasvig though, I heard a lot of clashing toward the end.
DJ 2 - With that intro, I was expecting a better drop and transition into a mix that had more hype at the beginning (the mix sounded too "static" at the start)...
What makes the ladder great is that listeners have various opinions on what they liked/didn't like....
I know many commented on loving DJ 1's opening, but my thoughts were in line with GSingh - I couldn't get over the intro. That constant drowned out heavy bass sound for like 12 seconds was not...
DJ 1: wasn’t a fan of your intro, but your mix really jelled with me after 0:10. Lots of high hats used, which we hear a lot of in mixes in these, so it becomes redundant. 2nd favorite part was the wind up and other effects thrown in from 0:31 to 0:37 and the drop right after. I wish the drop...
